Great location, so-so value
Great location, awesome front desk staff, and I'm overall pretty happy with the apartment but I don't know if its the best bang for your buck. The apartments themselves are a little older - older appliances etc but this isn't reflected in the rental price. That said, we do have a really awesome view, nice new carpets, and a good amount of space. The one thing that we were NOT expecting was how expensive our electric bills have been! We paid $180 in August for electric for a two bedroom apartment! It's been pretty crazy.
Allan Domb has been fine to work with and is quick to respond to repairs - one downside was the hassle of giving 2.5 months rent as a deposit - it was a ton of money upfront.

Studio in the Wanamaker
Each apartment's bathrooms and kitchens are different since some are updated and others not (also some units have hardwood, others carpet), and because of this, prices can range as well. However, if you get a good price, this place is a great building to live in. A lot of Wharton students, no issues with noise from other apartments, very convenient location, safe and overall comfortable.

Wanamaker House
The best part of this place is the location. It is closer to campus than most housing options and still within walking distance of all Rittenhouse activities. I would say that we also got a great deal on the place by work directly with the owner. It is also great because so many students (Wharton, other graduate schools) live here, so you can always find someone to help with something if you need. The negatives are that you cannot sublet during the summer and the building has recently undergone some renovation (now complete, but for a while was waking us up in the morning).

Great location, spacious studio
Studios at Wanamaker are pretty big, and great if you want to live alone while at Wharton.

Very good deal
The apartment is very good. View is amazing, location is very good and there are tons of Wharton people on the Building. The gym is ok and the pool is good but it works only for a few months.

Great location
The amenities at the Wanamaker aren't the greatest, but you can't beat the location! If you are looking for a quiet building with friendly front door staff, than the Wanamaker is great. If you are looking for a place to host wild parties, thrn you will be disappointed.

Good, but not great
Building is expensive for the lack of amenties you get. Everything is quite old.

Wanamaker a solid choice
Very happy with my decision. Location is about as central as it gets. Units are big, not the most updated but nice enough. Lobby and building look good. Amenities decent, gym's serviceable and rooftop pool is great when it's nice out. Good value, much cheaper than Icon or 2116 Chestnut (but more outdated too).

Rittenhouse Square Reviews
Spruce Street in particular is great - it's a little south of the square, so is quieter/shielded from a lot of the traffic that the neighborhood gets, but it's not out of the way or far away. There's a Starbucks, a grocery store (Rittenhouse Market), and a few corner stores (Four Seasons and Food & Friends) within a 2-3 minute walk of my apartment.
