Great
Great apt for people who can drive to their work or school. Not really within walking distance to UM campus but otherwise great.

Nice apartment
I've enjoyed living at Woodbury so far -- the apartment is nice, spacious, has plenty of closets and is far enough away from campus for some peace and quiet, though still within walking (though a long walk) and biking distance. The appliances aren't new but work well, the fixtures are nice, and overall I like the space. The one thing I'd note is that there are a lot of additional fees on top of the rent -- residents have to pay for trash and water (which ended up being significantly higher than what was originally quoted). Moving from a city where water and trash were always included in the rent, this took some getting used to. But overall it's just something to be aware of and doesn't detract from the great space.

Great apartment
Woodbury is a great apartment complex.
Pros: well-maintained, very good amenities (free printing, clubhouse, gym, pool), lots of Ross students living in the complex, very safe, close to several eateries and supermarket, Woodbury shuttle, lots of public buses on weekdays
Cons: location is not really walking distance to Ross (esp. in winter), public buses are limited on weekends, relatively expensive

Woodbury
Utilities often an additional $80 a month, seems to be shared across the properties.
Shuttle to Ross 5x a day, otherwise a 20 minute walk to campus

Pleasant enough and close enough to Ross
I live in a Townhouse at Woodbury Gardens. I have also lived in an Apartment at Woodbury as well. I would 100% recommend the Townhouse over the Apartment. There are fewer neighbors, therefore less noise. There is also direct access to the outdoors and more space. The Townhouses included a fully usable basement that isn't included in the square footage count.

Woodbury is hit and miss
There are some nice units in Woodbury, but also some bad ones. They have been installing some new finishes on empty units recently, which is nice. Highly recommend seeing the actual unit you will be occupying before signing the lease to avoid problem (potentially moldy) apartments. The shuttle to campus is great, though, and if you miss it there are also city buses convenient.

Sufficient for those with a Family
I live in an old townhouse at the Woodbury Gardens with my wife and 3 year old daughter. There's nothing too spectacular about Woodbury except for the free shuttle to school and its proximity to campus. My townhouse is a bit old with creaky floorboards and lacks proper lighting; however, it is still sufficient enough for my family and I to be economical and live comfortably.

Yost Reviews
I haven't had to go to school in person yet (due to the pandemic) - but once things are back in person, I would use the community shuttle to get to campus and possibly back depending on the time of day I head back. Otherwise, I would take the bus or walk. Walking takes about 30 min but the bus will cut down most of that since there is a city stop right at the entrance to Woodbury.
