Love it

Love my apartment, I especially love the size of my kitchen (lots of counter space compared to other apartments I looked at) and how updated it is. It is also relatively quiet so I would assume there's good insulation. My one complaint would be that I think the building could be more secure.

Nice place and close to campus

About a 12-15 minute walk to GW Law School. Approx. 5 minute walk to Dupont Metro. 24/7 front desk attendant. Nice gym. Pool with outdoor seating. 2 grills but hit or miss if they work/have propane. Great location for fun, but closest grocery store is Trader Joe's (~15 min. walk each way...hard in the cold/with groceries) and Whole Foods Foggy Bottom (about the same, maybe a little further). Mostly young people in the building. Only one or two annoying yuppies who are desperate to relive their glory days. Pet-friendly. Laundry is NOT FREE. Lots of closet space.

Awesome apartment

Great building, great residence, great prices, great management. Put up a flex wall to turn a 2-bed into 3 or a 1-bed into 2. More than enough space and helps you save a lot of money! Also pet friendly which is awesome for non-pet owners too :) Super accessible to blue, orange, silver and red lines, as well as buses. Very close to great stores, bars and restaurants, as well as Georgetown! Walls are very thick, people are friendly, I have zero complaints!

Expensive but wonderful

I live in a 2 bedroom/2 bath but a previous tenant converted the apartment into a 4 bedroom.
The location is great, 15 min walk from the law school, 5 min walk to DuPont Circle, there’s a farmers market right next door every Sunday

Decent amenities but super old apt interior

Amenities look pretty on the outside, but there are no cups, plates, etc in the club house and you have to pay for laundry. Crappy coffee is only served first thing in the am. Gym has no free weights. Actual apartment is super old with crooked lights, crappy appliances, etc. Neighbors are super loud and have parties (feels like a college dorm).

Great Spot at The Flats at Dupont Circle

I love my apartment. The floor to ceiling windows make it an amazing studio for me. Large compared to other studios I've seen in the area. Management has been very helpful whenever I've needed anything. My favorite part about living here is the location. I walk to the grocery store, school, bars, restaurants, Georgetown, and I can even walk to the monuments in about 25 minutes.

Definitely recommend!

The Flats at Dupont Circle is an amazing building! The management and maintenance are extremely responsive. The gym and pool are both great features and neither is ever too crowded. The front desk is extremely helpful and friendly. My only complaint would be that there is no laundry in the unit. The laundry room is in the basement, but there are plenty of machines. The neighborhood is wonderful, with great restaurants and bars nearby, and only a few blocks from the red line metro. I would definitely recommend the building to anyone looking in the area!

Great neighborhood. Very walkable, even at night I always feel safe. Usually lots of people out and about. Young community, lots of bars and some awesome restaurants. Farmers markets and outside concerts in the warm months. Easy access to foggy bottom metro (15min walk) and dupont metro (5 min walk). Lots of green space (rock creek park). Georgetown 20 min walk with great shopping. 20 min walk to AdMo with great restaurants/bars
I love the neighborhood! Perfectly situated between Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom. Walking distance to campus, while still being separate enough to feel independent. Tons of restaurants, bars, and stores around. The neighborhood feels very safe but is quiet and residential, too.
Dupont Circle is a great area. I like that my block feels very residential, but I'm close to convenience stores, the Metro, and only a 15-20 minute walk to the law school. Sometimes I walk over to Georgetown, which is nice.
I have never felt unsafe walking home at night from campus. The area is mostly embassies and very fancy apartments and townhouses.
could not be happier. i love having a safe space away from the law school
West End is amazing! Such great restaurants and stores around!
Amazing food and restaurants all within walking distance
Hamilton House is located in the crossings of West End, Foggy Bottom, and DuPont. It is a very clean, classy area. Super incredible how you can walk down the street to old-town DC, walk down another street and its all clubs and bars of DuPont, walk the other direction and its GW, walk another direction and its DuPont circle and all the incredible food. This is an ideal location, especially being situated right in between Foggy Bottom / GW Metro stop and the DuPont Metro stop.
