Cedar Fairmount

I have had no problems living in this apartment. The building is clean, and there is laundry on-site. The property is very quiet. All appliances and utilities work well, and management is very responsive and kind.

I really love the area of this apartment. There are great restaurants and grocery stores across or down the street. It is only a 20-minute walk to campus, and there are usually CWRU shuttles that pick up near the apartment. Location is by far the best thing about this apartment. It is located in an old building that needs some major renovation. It is a clean space but is in need of some new structural repairs and updates. I had a nice time living in this apartment, but there were a few repairs management did not want to do during the pandemic which was slightly frustrating. It is under new management now so hope to see good changes come from this.

Being right in the center of Cedar Fairmount means great access to businesses like Dave's, Luna and Zhug. The building management is extremely responsive and quick to fix any issues. It's a spacious apartment with an in-unit washer/dryer and garbage disposal. One downside is that being right on Cedar Road means things are a bit loud.

Great location; lots of restaurants nearby and walkable to campus.
Maintenance person lives in the building which is convenient. Each unit is a little different in terms of layout and updating so make sure that you see pictures of the one that is actually available.
1BR was great for 1 person; a little cramped for 2.
