Decent but noisy neighbors
Good location, easy commute to work. Only downside is that there are two opera singers in the building on the 2nd floor and you can literally hear them all. the. time. Every day.

The Castle
Great location and plenty of space! Parking behind the building is tight.

Castle
It is an enjoyable place to live with options to eat when you get the late night munchies or just don't want to cook! Provides easy access to the RTA system that picks you up and drops you off right in front of the school. You may get to school a bit early some days to make it on time, but just plan accordingly to use it as study time / reading a book / prayer or whatever you want! It's a great price in comparison to what a lot of others pay closer to school and the commute is not a hassle.

Great Management Experience
The landlord is great and very quickly fixes anything we request. The apartment is fairly large and has a newly renovated kitchen with granite counter tops and marble floor and walls in the bathroom with lots of mirrors. It has a good amount of closets for storage space and the living room has lots of windows. You can open or close the valves to the heaters, but other than that you do not have much control over how much heat comes out of the radiators so sometimes it can be a little bit chilly. There is no air conditioning but I have a window AC unit and I didn't even use it (it never got extremely hot). There is parking in lots very close to the apartment with covered parking options which the landlord takes care of for you if you request it (it's about $39 per month). Overall, the apartment is really nice, has a new renovated feel, nice wooden floors, and nice kitchen, and the location is great in Cedar-Fairmount near Dave's market and restaurants. You can have a cat but no dogs.

Recently updated apartment in Cedar-Fairmount
Overall solid apartment. Recently updated kitchen, wood floors, lots of light, you can tell that he maintains the properties well. Love that it’s right the middle of Cedar-Fairmount area, so very close to Dave’s (grocery store), bars, restaurants, bakery, etc, but still quiet. Small but perfectly fine for 1 person or a couple. Only complaint is parking either expensive (to park behind the building, in a very narrow spot so large cars may not be able to fit) or up the street at the city lot. My unit has two very large closets, a floor-ceiling mirror in living room, well-maintained bathroom, new kitchen. The landlord is not so responsive but the maintenance men are and are around often. Water is flat $15/month, gas is included, apartment was warm all winter. Laundry (coin-operated) in the basement. He allows cats

Amazing apartment, great location, excellent property owner/maintenance
Overall, I have had the best experience at this apartment. I looked into many apartments and was blown away by this one. The location can't be beat (in the heart of Cedar/Fairmount), and the "Heights AM Shuttle" stops right in front of the apartment (offering a ride to school every morning). It's only about a 15 minute walk to school, and there are many grocery stores/bars/restaurants in the area. In terms of the apartment, the property owner is very straightforward and honest. The parking lot is indoors. The best part is, any maintenance that is needed is fixed within a day. The few times I have called requesting maintenance, the problem was fixed within hours. Overall, I have had an excellent experience here and will continue living here in the years to come.

Great Neighborhood and apartment in great shape!
My apartment is located in Cedar Fairmount district which has numerous restaurants nearby as well as a grocery store and Starbucks within walking distance. Parking in city lots in within a block of the apartment. All apartments are unique and well kept. Very spacious one bedroom. Landlord is pretty responsive to needs of tenant. Apartment and area seem very safe!

More expensive but safe and reliable managment company
Great apartment to live in. Only drawbacks are that the covered parking behind the apartment buildings is $75/month while the outdoor lot one block down the street is $35/month. Some units have washer/dryers in the units. Landlord is great about maintenance and is quick to reply. Requires 2-year lease. The driveway behind the apts can be hard to access because of the narrow driveway and lack of prompt shoveling in the winter. Otherwise super safe (mostly everyone is a grad student) and close to Starbucks, AT&T store, bars, and 20-25 minute walk to Case.
