Avoid
I lived at 1000 N LaSalle St last year as a tenant. On the last day of my lease, before my lease was over, I had suitcases packed up in my empty apartment before moving out. Two PPM employees of this building entered my apartment without warning, while I was not there, and went through my packed suitcases. I came home to my things scattered everywhere with one employee still in my room. He claimed he thought I moved out due to my roommates keys in the office, but not mine. Another employee handed me a bag of my electronics that they took, including my laptop, AirPods, camera, and chargers.
As I packed everything back up, I realized cash was stolen. I spoke with Simona T., the building manager, who gave me the cash back as to not escalate things further. A few days later, when I moved out and unpacked everything, I realized more was missing. The building refused to compensate the rest of my stolen belongings.

Great Neighborhood and Location
This is my third year living in the apartment. The apartment is expensive and is not the nicest place but we love the location. My roommate and I both needed parking spots and this was the most affordable place we could find with two spots and in a safe location.

Average Apartment but Good Neighborhood
Building not worth the rent cost. Good for dog owners. I wish utilities were consistent price and not based upon other residence's uses. It is in a great location and the other renters are very friendly. Management throws many parties for their residents.

Great Location
The apartment has a great location. I really appreciate how close everything is. Management is fast and effective at taking care of issues. Doormen are very nice and seem to be very social and good at their jobs. Rent is not bad and includes all utilities.

I love our building & the management staff. We have a dog park that has saved our lives with our puppy! Love the location!

Great location, great views!
The apartment is fantastic! We have an amazing view of the city, updated kitchen and plenty of space for a one-bedroom. But it's a pretty high price, and our main complaint is about the utilities--they're very expensive and nothing is included in rent. The management company essentially divides up the utilities that the building uses and charges each apartment on a square-footage basis. We use very little air, heat, etc. but we end up paying close to 150 per month. Otherwise it's great though!
