Good for graduate students
The apartment complex is pretty unremarkable unto itself. The buildings are slightly older, some of the units are updated but most have minimal upgrades, none of the buildings have elevators, and the common areas (gym, pool, laundry, etc) are pretty standard for most complexes. The main selling points are a huge density of Emory grad students live here and the campus shuttle picks up nearby. This makes the commute to and from Emory very easy, and many of your classmates will live nearby.

Good location bad management
The apartment is reasonably priced, convenient for school, has lots of grad students, two pools, and a nice gym (for an apartment at least). Quality of apartment varies, so I highly recommend checking out the unit you will actually be living in before signing your lease (updated appliances, etc, doesn't always mean that is the case).
Significant year over year rent increases, poor maintenance, nickel and dime-ing, etc. The location is very suburban as well, so while it's convenient for school, its far from the bar/going out scene.

Okay option, close to Emory campus
Convenient to Emory campus, frequent shuttle, lots of classmates live here so it becomes a social hub.

Dreadful management issues
My first year living at Post was a dream. Then MAA took over and things went downhill. Quickly. To make a long story very short, I had a leak in my ceiling for over 1/2 a year which they refused to fix, they incorrectly charged my rent on multiple occasions and then threatened to evict me, and to top it all off, committed blatant check fraud and drained my savings account so I had to file a police report. Save your money, your time, and your sanity, and live LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE.

Good apartment complex!
The facilities are nice and maintenance usually comes quickly if you have any issues. The staff in the leasing office hardly answer the phone and are slow to respond to email, but are SO nice when you speak to them face to face...so if you need anything from them your best bet is to walk over to the office

Great place at too high a price
My apartment is very nice and I have had no issues over the past year and a half with the facilities, finding parking, contacting the leasing office, and getting maintenance issues resolved. My only complaint is that the rent has increased too much-- the cost was already at the high end, especially since I am responsible for all utilities and various fees and charges are tacked onto the base rent. Overall I have very much enjoyed residing here, which makes me sad that I may have to move out soon as I can't afford nearly 1500 a month for a 700sf 1b/1ba and significantly cheaper options are available around this area.

So Close to Emory
The apartment is very convenient to Emory which is the biggest benefit. It has a pool, adequate parking, a gym, and our apartment is spacious.
The biggest downside is the unprofessionalism and unresponsiveness of the management. They take a long time to respond to maintenance requests and come into our apartment without leaving notices. They do not follow the "customer is always right" business approach and having any problem solved often requires significant follow-up on the part of the resident. Also, the gate is frequently broken.
I moved from a different Post property with an exceptional management team, and I was surprised by the contrast.

Pretty Good
Fine in every way but the management could be more responsive, and all of the amenities are made as cheaply as possible.

Golden Drop Cafe--which has outdoor seating incase the pandemic is still uncontrolled when you read this--is just 3 min. down the road. Mason Mill Park, which has tennis courts, a pavillion, and walking trails, is also very near.
