Great location for new Emory students
The Post Briarcliff apartment complex is extremely popular among first year graduate students at Emory University (medicine, law, business, etc.). The location is ideal for transitioning to Atlanta, but is likely over-priced for what it offers residents because of its ideal location to Emory. If you are willing to commit to a slightly longer commute, you could get more for your money. Overall, the property is well-managed but the leasing office always seems to prioritize their business over their relationship with tenants. Expect them to charge random fees during the application/moving process and to consistently reference “rules/policies” that are illogical except that they almost exclusively benefit the management company.

Barely any complaints. Cheap for the area, good amenities, good neighbors, feel safe. There are a lot of other students from Emory Med that live here as well. Management responds relatively quickly for maintenance requests, and front office is very good.
Relatively close to Emory, near some restaurants, gym is passable to good, and is generally near anyone else that you might want to drive to to visit. Uber to nightlife is probably around $10-12. Executive Park bus route can sometimes take a while but is nearby and free if you figure out the schedule or use the Rider app.
I would recommend having a car if you're here, as it's free and most places you want to go to will be driving distance.

Lots of M1s live in the same complex and the location is ideal if you want to save money on a parking pass and take the bus.

It's the best place to live M1 year
If you want to live near other grad students, this is the place to be! There are tons of young people, and it's very social. It's also quiet and spacious which is nice. There are sometimes issues with maintenance.

Golden Drop Cafe--which has outdoor seating incase the pandemic is still uncontrolled when you read this--is just 3 min. down the road. Mason Mill Park, which has tennis courts, a pavillion, and walking trails, is also very near.
