violent place - do not recommend
It was my second year living at Riverloft and paying so much I never thought I would get disrespected or assaulted. But as a petite woman, I was beat up and dragged by my hair in the hallway by a visiting couple on the 4th floor in September 2022. I have no idea how this visiting couple had access. They felt threatened that I "walked fast past them". They were cussing and verbally harassing me on the elevator before...Extremely traumatic experience, had blood on my face from the assault and residents had to come from my screams. Riverloft did nothing to compensate me except if I renewed my lease but I am moving so I wouldn't need the lease. Also, AC, heater, electricity, and elevators are constantly down. 0/10 do not recommend.

Overall satisfied
The application/move-in process was slow and it was difficult to get in touch with the manager. Once moved in, however, I have enjoyed living here and would recommend it to others. Good space, lots of natural sunlight with large windows/high ceilings, decent appliances, available (but a bit dingy) gym, guest parking upon request. The maintenance people are prompt and super kind. In a seemingly safe area, near good restaurants and 15-20 minute walk to Penn. One small complaint would be the additional charges for package pickup.

very average apartment
the rent itself is a good deal for the area of Rittenhouse, but doesn't include utilities/parking/package lockers/storage units/etc. so I feel like the price is not truly reflective of how much it costs to live there.
includes a small gym / in unit washer-dryer and I have a dog (small fee/month)
management has not been great to work with. however, maintenance and the front desk staff are all incredible.

High ceilings are great but come at a cost
All in all a decent building close to campus but the utility bill is ridiculous due to the high-ceilings. Water pressure is not the best, the bathrooms are spacious but industrial looking, you have to pay (small fee) for packages delivery and in many apartments, closet is connected to the bathroom which is annoying when you have guests over.

Great place to live for Penn grad students
Great proximity to campus and love my space- very roomy for the amount I pay. The amenities are fine- decent gym, good parking, etc-- there could be more to make it more plush but it is totally fine. No real problems living here at all. Some of the good coffee shops/the rite aid across the street have closed since I initially moved in which is a bummer because there's not a ton of retail/food in the immediate few blocks, but proximity to campus, fitler, and rittenhouse somewhat makes up for it. I love living here. I also think sound proofing is pretty good here- I can host decently sized groups of friends, and don't really hear much from my neighbors.

Great place to live
Management is irritating sometimes. View is not great. But there is zero doubt this is the best apartment for the money. Exceptional space.

Decent for med students
A little expensive, and the apartment wasn't up to full cleanliness standards upon move-in. There were issues with the power going out for long periods of time. Overall, though, it's not a bad place to live. Maintenance and front desk people are wonderful.

I have really enjoyed living at Riverloft - the location is unbeatable and you get a ton of space. The only con is things in the apartment tend to break easily.

Fitler Square Reviews
That being said I did notice that most students lived on the side of the school!
There are residents without housing in the neighborhood. They're good people and new residents should be respectful of them and their belongings.
