Great value
The apartment is quite large and reasonably priced. The maintenance team is very helpful and will fix any issues immediately. Great to have laundry in the apartment, parking downstairs and a gym in the building, especially during the winter

Reserve at Evanston
It is an almost perfect apartment. The only cons is it is a bit far from Evanston center (10min walk).
Apart from that, it's a calm community, nice apartment floorplan and very friendly staff.

Overpriced
Pleasant management, but overly expensive

Excellent management
The reserve is good and responsive to service requests, which is nicer than some of the condo buildings. The units are on the smaller side but they are new and there is a nice pool/gym. The also have a guest suite for I think $100/night if you have people come stay.

Great place!
Walking -> 10-12 minutes to Kellogg, 10 to Downtown, 4 to train station.
Good Gym, good social/computer/printer/TV area, in-apartment laundry, great management team.

Close to school, but far from downtown Evanston
The walk to school is about 12 min which is convenient. The downside is that we're not close to the bars, restaurants, and grocery stores that other popular apartments are.

Good Place to Start
A bit far from downtown Evanston, but this offers a fair 10 minute walk to the Jake. Maintenance is responsive, and the apartments are clean and modern. Additionally, only a one year lease is required.

Reasonable value for the location
About a 10-15 minute walk from the Jacobs Center, The Reserve was a bit more affordable than some of the comparable properties we looked at in Evanston. The apartment itself has great amenities (breakfast bar, in-unit washer/dryer), and we have a nice gym and pool. Management is quick and responsive to any maintenance concerns, etc. My only real complaint is that parking is really expensive; you can't get a street parking permit from the city if you live here, so you're stuck paying an extra $140 a month if you have a car.

Northeast Evanston Reviews
