Outstanding gated community within walking distance of Center City but still separate enough to get some peace and quiet. The community amenities (which include a pool, gym, and being incredibly pet friendly) are outstanding. One of the best places in Philly to live in!

Amazing place to live, especially if you have a family or if you don't want to live in a high rise but would like a nice gated community. There are a good amount of Penn Med and CHOP & HUP Residents that live here. There are always a few Wharton/Penn Law students as well. All together, it has a real neighborhood community feel while having the convenience of being very close to the bars and restaurants of Center City. There condos themselves are modern and spacious. The one slight negative, however, is that the pricing is higher than I expected. Naval Square is a better value than some of the high rises in Center City, but it's ALOT more expensive than comparable townhomes 1-2 blocks away. That said, you end up paying a high premium to be within the gated community, which says a lot about the consistent demand to live here.

-Lots of open grass for kids to play
-There are also a fair number of Wharton families (mostly Veterans) that live in Naval Square and the community is close-knit
-The only downside is that it is somewhat removed from Rittenhouse Square, making it more difficult to meet up with people in that area (and your walk to and from campus will likely be different too)
-But, overall, I would definitely recommend it for those with families

Amazing place for families. Easy access everywhere in he city and in a gated community. Hard to beat, by a little pricey relative to other options. Still the best place for families in Philly.

The description says it all. 10 minute bike ride or 25 minute walk to campus, a large grass field for kids and dogs to run on, a pool, gym, and vibrant community of young families and couples makes this - bar none- the best place in Philly for Wharton or Penn Med/Law students to live in.

The entire condo is on one floor (no stairs) and has an underground parking garage. Naval Square is a gated community with patrolling guards and has a pool and gym. 15 minute walk to campus. Ideal for students with families who want piece of mind that their family is safe and secure during school and the summer internship. A significant portion of the Naval Square community are young families with kids.

Quiet, gated community in the heart of center city. Close to school. Amenities include a pool, large gym, and enormous grass lawn which is perfect for kids and dogs.

If you have children or pets but still want to live in the city, Naval Square should be your choice.

Units come with assigned parking, there's a nice big lawn up front where kids play and dogs are walked. The concierge receives packages for you. You're walking distance to great brunch options. And you're still in the city.

If you have a family and want a safe and convenient place to live, you cannot do any better than Naval Square. A gated condominium complex that is guarded with private security, you feel safe as soon as you drive through the gate. We have underground parking with a dedicated spot and the gym and pool have everything you want. A very large parade ground at the front of the community is a great place to let your kids play and socialize with other parents. Minutes from Penn, CHOP, and Rittenhouse Square.

We've loved living at Naval Square. There are so many young families here, and living so close to other families creates a great sense of community.
