Great place to own if you have a car and pet!

very pet friendly, garage parking (Which is hard to find in Philly), gated community, gym, pool, fob entry

Naval Square

Great experience living at naval square. Very close to the medical school and most of the hospital sites (10-15 mins). Also has dedicated parking spots which is helpful because street parking can be tough.

Safe, Great location, & More families than fellow students

It is one of the safest and most convenient areas in Philadelphia. It is very pet-friendly with a great pool and gym. Units are spacious and usually come with parking. Decent walk and easier bike ride to campus.

Naval Square

I love the convenience of Naval Square to the hospital and the quieter atmosphere it provides within the city. The units are modern with good lighting and amenities. Convenient gym and pool access, and the best part especially during covid restrictions is the large park with open green space.

Love Naval Square, hate my landlord

Naval Square is a beautiful, safe, and quiet gated community very close to CHOP. All of the buildings are relatively newly constructed (within last 5-12 years), and the amenities are fantastic. Lots of outdoor space, safe package delivery, bike and car parking, guest parking, etc. The apartments have great closets and spacious bathrooms.

I would NOT recommend renting from Udon "Albert" Ju - he has been incredibly difficult to communicate with, delayed necessary repairs, does not follow through on agreements, etc.

This neighborhood feels like a small, tight-knit community - I see friends around the neighborhood all the time! Once I lost my wallet nearby and a complete stranger tracked down my email to return it to me, with nothing missing. I love living here!

Quiet, friendly neighborhood with lots of grocery stores, convenience stores, and small restaurants nearby.

This small neighborhood is just south of Naval Square and offers an affordable alternative to Rittenhouse for those seeking a larger living space. The streets are very narrow but generally offer decent parking. The nearby power plant produces some mechanical hum, but never strange smells or smoke. The neighborhood is very close to the South Street bridge, offering excellent bike and foot access to UPenn and the Schuylkill River Trail. The neighbors are a combination of med school residents, nurses, and other local Philadelphians. The neighborhood has a safe feel and is generally very quiet.
