👍🏽
Coming from a high-cost market, I am happy with the square footage and price though know that peers can easily find more space for less money. Station 9 is convenient, given the amount of Fuqua students who live here.

S9 - good for the people, bad for value
Apartment is fine. Berkshire 9 is better.

You Pay for Proximity
Very convenient, centrally located near restaurants on 9th Street.

Excellent location
Station 9 is a great place to live. It is convenient as most of your class will be living at S9 or in adjacent areas (Berkshire 9 or Berkshire Main). Across the street, you have Harris Teeter, a 24 hour grocery store. The bank and the duke bus stop is also very close-by.

Perfect for b-school
The place we're in is a 2/2 with plenty of natural light on the top floor and back side of station nine. We get little noise save the occasional party or dog, and are generally pleased with the unit. I've found maintenance to be extremely responsive and friendly and the front desk staff to be (mostly) friendly and helpful.
Its perfect for b-school at Fuqua because of its proximity to everyone else in the program - note that its basically an upscale dorm at this point.
By biggest complaints would be the passive-aggressive emails sent from management, the lack-luster gym, and the price of the unit. Buy hey... supply/demand right?

S9 ain't horrible
S9 is good about fixing your stuff when it's broken. It's not a terrible place to live, and not as loud as you hear it is. Don't even think about living here with children. They offer summer rent to some people and not others which is kind of ridiculous.

S9
Station 9 is nice but it's not as nice as the rent is high. The walls are very thin, and the maintenence is somewhat condescending. Our AC didn't work for half the summer, and they would come to fix it, but not do anything. The management has been helpful in helping us, but not that effective.

Great for Graduate students
Station Nine is a great place for graduate students at Duke. It's close to campus, has a great vibe and spacious apartments. Though their units aren't in the newest conditions, it's good for a year or two. It's proximity to grocery stores, bars and restaurants can't be beat.

Paying to be with other students
Apartment is decent, but probably a little overpriced.
