Wilson building
Reasonably priced, in a safe neighborhood (I feel comfortable going out to walk at 10 pm). Within 15-20 minutes of the CWRU campus and the Rapid rail. Very spacious (it is equivalent to 2 bedrooms, plus a common area). The property owners are very responsive and will come fix things like patch ceiling, replace window screens within 1-2 days.
The only thing I do not like about it is because the floors are pretty old, you can hear upstairs neighbors walk around, especially if they are stomping.

Nice value and location
Even though I live in a single, I have a great deal of space in my apartment. The upkeep is very nice even though it's an older building, and maintenance is quite responsive. It's also located in the heart of the Cedar-Fairmount area where many Case med students live and hangout. My only complaint is the intermittent noises (creaks, clanks) that come with living in an older apartment.

It's fine. Nothing to write home about .
Decent place just an old building. Usually pretty quiet (*****look for a place on the top floor because the floors are creaky af) Place is huge. 15 minutes from school.

Might need some updated
The building is pretty old so there are a lot of things that could be updated. There are some noises from the building such as from the heating system and general creaking/ window rattling/ etc. Also the electricity system is pretty old so you can't have too many high-energy appliances running in one room at the same time. Laundry is fine but broke for a few weeks before it was fixed. General maintenance responds pretty quickly. Haven't noticed too many pests but there may or not be a mouse running around. For the good, the heat is at a pretty good temperature. My apartment is really spacious, lots of windows, high ceilings, pretty quiet. I can't hear the next door neighbors but sometimes can hear from other floors. No dogs allowed, may allow cats?

Great Spot
Honestly, we found this apartment on a Hail Mary whim, and it's worked out for us pretty well without any major complaints.
Pros: 1 min walk to Dave's Supermarket/Starbucks, ~15 mins walk to school, 2 mins walk to Waldorf, bus stop is very close by. I didn't have a car, but it's $30 to park in a huge lot right next to us. Never had a problem with heat and water- even in the coldest of times, our apartment was always warm and toasty. Rent is extremely reasonable and management is incredibly responsive. The apartment is also really spacious and feels homey with wood floors and a fireplace.
Cons: It's a pretty old building that hasn't been renovated, but is just kept decently maintained. We have super loud heaters that hiss- if you're a light sleeper, this may be an issue, but we learned to get used it. Pretty small kitchen with limited counter space. Since my roommate and I both cook, this has been hard at times to deal with. We just recently dealt with a mouse- management left some glue traps and worked with us on this, but that wasn't fun. The windows are really drafty so I keep my bedroom windows closed with curtains at all times to trap the heat in. The floors are also a bit uneven. Also, the walls are very thin, so when our downstairs neighbors hosts parties/plays loud music, we can hear it all pretty much. Same thing with the upstairs- if someone walks, we can hear every step through the ceiling. So again, if you're a light sleeper, you might have some trouble adjusting here.

No Surprises
This apartment was very well aligned with what was expected for the price. It is very spacious and has a lot of sunlight. Some components are old - particularly radiator heating and window units - but functional. The heat is controlled by management, so it does get toasty in the winter months. The management is VERY responsive. Any requests we put it were taken care of the next day.
Tenants seem to be graduate students and young professionals, so it is generally quiet with the exception of infrequent weekend nights. Walls are a bit thin. Grocery store, bank, few restaurants and coffee are all less than 5 minutes walk around the corner. Coventry and CWRU are ~20 minutes walk.
Only complaint is limited usable counter space in the kitchen when countertop appliances are used.

Wilson Building
Great value with a lot of space. No control over the heat, and the colder it gets outside, the hotter it gets inside. Unbearably hot in winter without opening windows. Can be made comfortable by letting in enough drafty air. Old style radiators also make loud whistling noise that gets annoying. Old circuitry means not enough outlets.
Nice price and location though. And very responsive management company.
