Great staff, safe location, easy access to food. Love every aspect of living in the triangle, except that I would need to take the shuttle to get to the clinic. Would have moved to a closer location if I werent graduating soon.

So far, so good!

So far, so good! I think it's enough space, but I also don't really need a lot of space. The appliances could be newer, but they work just fine. I do hate the paint choice for the walls, but I can live with it. Kim and Jenny are awesome! Super, super nice and very responsive if you have any questions/issues (which is rare since they do an amazing job of providing all the info necessary and making sure things are running smoothly).

Getting packages and mail has been a breeze. So far, no issues whatsoever.

So far, no pest issues.

Limited facility usage (gym, study rooms, etc. currently closed) due to the pandemic, but I'm sure they'll go back to full usage when it's safe to do so.

No issues with the laundry facilities, although of course I wish they were in unit instead. :)

So, yeah. So far, so good! :)

The triangle apartment

Hi! I have been living in a studio at the Triangle apartment for the past 3 years.

First of all, the location is great. It used to be better before we moved in to the new dental building because I could have walked to the building in ~5 to 7min . However, it is still pretty good because the buses stop at the old building, and the buses run quite often, maybe every 5~7min? So getting to the old building takes about 20~25min including the walk, the wait for the bus, and the bus ride itself, which isn't bad at all.

The apartment is pretty expensive for a studio. But I do feel that apartments here cost about the same in general, unless you live farther away or live with a roommate.

The apartment is great. Nowadays it has become a dorm for undergrad students, but there are still some floors designated for grad students. Since it is built for students, the service is great. The maintenance does pretty much all the repairs for you. Laundry is free and parking is good. There is a small gym (very small) and a study room and lounges. In the lounge, there is a ping pong table and a pool table (I used to play everyday with my friends back when I was a D2). Most importantly for me, it was safe. The neighbors are friendly, and the sound proof is real good. I don't hear anything from my neighbors unless they are really, really being loud (like screaming).

Overall, the distance is good, the location is awesome (surrounded by restaurants), the management is super, super nice, it is safe, but it is a bit expensive and the studio unit is quite small.

Everything you need

This apartment has everything I need. It's a rennovated building, the location is great, and the management is fantastic to work with. Although it is a little pricy, it is absolutely worth the price! (And all utilities, cable, internet, gym, and washing/drying of clothes is included).

Overall great place

Like living here, very convenient. Slightly overpriced and some uncertainty with leases, but overall happy with my experience here.

Comfortable Place to Live

This apartment is quite pricy, but has incredible advantages with its location near the RTA station and the undergrad campus/med campus. Its kitchen is absolutely massive and was the major draw for me with completely new appliances and countertops. In some spots, the floor is a bit uneven and there is a draft from the door on the front to the porch, but neither gets in the way of my everyday living at all. Its large backyard with picnic tables and coal grill is incredibly nice in the warmer months. The living/dining space is oddly shaped and was a bit hard to furnish, but the new kitchen and bathroom entirely made up for this for me.

Getting around University Circle

University Circle Reviews

125 reviews
It's part urban and part suburban. There are nice walking trails around wade oval, but could be dangerous if you're alone during the early or late hours of the day. Walk with a friend or group of friends.

Close enough to campus buildings so there was enough light that I felt safe enough, but once I left campus, felt a little more alert.
The building is in between two large hospitals, Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals, making it very easy for me to get to class/rotations. It is generally safe. The Case Western Reserve University police and Cleveland Clinic patrol the area almost constantly, and I have always felt secure. Additionally, I am close to museums, coffee shops, libraries, bars, and nice places to eat, study, and hang out.
It's a wonderful neighborhood - walking distance to all the museums, botanical gardens, and some of the best restaurants in Cleveland. Also walking distance to a couple coffee shops and the CWRU library and student center, so ideal for studying. The best part: < 5 min commute to school and you get to avoid Cedar coming down the hill.
Living in University Circle while in law school has made a stressful experience pleasant and less complicated. The walk to campus (which is in University Circle) is fabulous - not having to battle hospital traffic and find parking is great. There's a Constantino's Market that provides all grocery needs. University Circle has a diverse range of food options - from upscale dining at L'Albatros, to comfort food in Little Italy, to fast casual in Uptown, you could probably eat somewhere different every night for a month, all within walking distance.

University Circle is THE hub for cultural activity in Cleveland. The Cleveland Museum of Art is my favorite place in the Circle. It has fabulous permanent exhibits and brings in wonderful temporary exhibitions. The museum hosts social events that are perfect for young people more than once a month. The Circle also contains Severance Hall - home of the Cleveland Orchestra, the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, the Natural History Museum, and more!

The area is fairly safe as it is heavily patrolled by UCPD and Campus Police. Ambulances frequent the area to get to the hospital, but that is the only noise complaint I've ever heard of.

I couldn't be happier about living right in University Circle during law school.
The neighborhood is very safe, although I only walk to and from school. From park lane, I would not walk to go grocery shopping as there are not stores nearby except for rite aid.
neighbors are friendly, though due to the location and the vast majority of the people living in the building are working or going to school, rarely see neighbors. The most active time with people in the building are on Friday nights through Saturday night.
There is a lot of things to do in the neighborhood now. It is feeling more like a campus area, with some local flavor mixed in.
There is a grocery store that is very convenient and also the normal college campus chain restaurants like Chipotle.
This is a safe neighbourhood as it's located in the heart of university circle. There are lots of restaurants within one minute walking distance and the public transport connectivity is very good.
