1800 Oak Apartments reviews and highlights
- spacious apartments with high ceilings, granite countertops, and updated appliances
- incredibly close to the Metro and GUTS bus
- convenient location right next to the Safeway and the Blue, Orange, and Silver lines all wihtin a five minute walk
Fantastic place to live
1800 N Oak is a great place to live! The location is really convenient - right next to the Safeway and the Blue, Orange, and Silver lines are all within a 5 minute walk. The rent is pretty expensive, but the apartments are beautiful and well kept and the building's amenities are great.

Oak Apartments
Great location, very close to the Rosslyn Metro which can get loud but it's worth living that close. great extras like the pool and the gym. people are very friendly but the management takes some getting used too. they can be unfriendly and even ignore you at times.

Expensive, but worth it
Our apartment is expensive and no utilities are included, but the building is very convenient, quiet, well-kept, and hassle-free. Because I do all of my studying at home, it's ideal living for a med student.

Location is great, but the facilities are a little bit worn out. Staff's kindness is varied from time to time.

Rosslyn Reviews
However, this has been a business district for ages. There is very little going on around here and many of the restaurants don’t even open on the weekends. But, that’s changing. So stay tuned!
(Also, I like living in Virginia because my vote counts for more here!)
If you have long legs, renting a bike is an option. If you are like me and 5'1'', renting a bike is an option for downhill rides.
There is a lot within walking distance in Rosslyn (think 20 min average from my apt): Barnes and Noble, shopping, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's (also on the Arlington loop shuttle from GU), public libraries, CVS, Target, Safeway, lots of restaurants.
Also close to dense populations of immigrant communities if you like Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean food.
Cons: Neighborhood shuts down after 5pm. Few restaurants in the neighborhood itself (this is getting better though). Concrete canyon effect because of the skyscrapers. Closest grocery store is an expensive Safeway.
