Embassy Courts apartments- Cheapest homes close to campus!
Very decent apartments. No noise. Close to Walk-Ons, Lit Pizza, Subway, Taco Bell on Burbank side of apartments, walking distance to campus 10 min. walk to Chemistry and Life sciences building, 5 mins. Walk to PFT, Campus transit stops right outside the apartment, LSU tiger trail stops on Burbank side. Very good management.
Closet space is small, that's the only drawback I feel, but it is still manageable and decent with this price.

Embassy is a great place to live
Peggy (property manager) is the best ever! She resolves most issues almost immediately. It is also quiet and feels safe.

Careful Management
The management and maintenance are great. Apartments are rather old and may have various problems but the maintenance team cares and you don't feel being forgotten. Unfortunately, roaches are part of life for the old complexes and if you live downstairs you would see more, that would be a problem if you have a phobia. for the upstairs, due to old isolations, in the summer you may pay more than what you expect to cool the house down. Overall living in Embassy has lots of benefits and I think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Advantages: Good/awesome management and maintenance, being close to the campus, being close to LSU lake and LSU UREC, affordable, safe (cause it is close to campus). Disadvantages: Old, roaches (although they do pest control regularly), no pet allowed (good if you are allergic),

Overall good
This residential unit is close to campus and to bus stops. the location is very convenient. One problem I found was related to roaches. The first time I came there were good number of them. But the unit manager assigned a pest controller to fix the problem. Now there are very few of them.

Great Management
The management team of the Embassy apartments is awesome. they are so understanding and cooperative and responsive to the request as fast as possible, also they have tried to keep the apartment environment good for students. generally, we feel safe and have no problem. The only drawback maybe is the apartments themselves which are rather old.
