Apartment review?

I had a homeless man jerk off outside of my window, so that made me feel a little unsafe. There’s also carpet so not ideal.

The Villas

I really despise the idea of sharing bathrooms. You can imagine my joy when I discovered the Villas. On the flip side, their ratings are horrible online. Ignore that, those are weird individuals or old reviews, so some views might have been valid then. It's quite safe too and lies on the LSU bus route. Plenty of parking spaces plus your full laundry facility is indoors. You will have a security card too for when the gates get locked. The staff or management are helpful and polite, alot of families and grad students live here. So, it's usually quiet. Plan to buy alot of stuff or wait till graduation period for free stuff, as the apartment is generally unfurnished. You may be lucky to get one which is. Large enough room size, no bed bugs, conducive environment and well functioning bathrooms. Pros 99%, it's affordable too. $100/month around $80/month on power, $60/month internet. I use Cox. Bills may vary based on your usage. Oh, if you have a bike, there are biking lanes! The walls are thick enough, you won't be bothered by neighbor's music or wonder if they could easily eavesdrop. Remember, it's very close to LSU

“Convenient and Family-Friendly

Review for Villas at Brightside:

I’ve been living at Villas at Brightside for 2.5 years, and it’s been a good experience overall. The property has a nice pool, a convenient bus stop, and is about a 10-minute drive to LSU, making it ideal for families and couples. The buildings are older, and while some units have been renovated, others could use updates. Management is responsive, and the maintenance team is friendly. The neighborhood is decent and generally quiet.

The Villa

Experience so far has been great! The rooms are comfortable and spacious. I love the walk in closet. It is really easy to get to school as the LSU bus has a stop in front of the building. Make sure you apartment is not roach infested though and you get an awesome roommate

Villas

Very large apts. for the rent price. I have rented this apt. since I started grad school. I live with my significant other and I have converted one of the 2 bedrooms into an office for work from home. However, the bedrooms are spacious and splitting the apt. with a roommate would not be an issue. The kitchen is on the small side but not too bad. Bathrooms are small but acceptable. Closets are large. The unit has a washer and a dryer, dishwasher, oven/range, microwave, and refrigerator.

It's okay, the management is not too good

The apartment complex in itself is great. You get discounts and it becomes affordable with the discounts. Without discount my apartment would cost 1050 pm but with discount it costs 850 pm. The management has changed a few times already during my 2+ years living here. The new management seems okay but they definitely are not very good at taking care of maintenance.
