New and clean, but misleading for pet owners
The apartment itself is very new with good value for money. There are minor issues with the units at times due to how new the building is (this is very common for newly-opened buildings). The major issue my wife and I have with the complex is their marketing about the apartment being a pet-friendly space. The apartment advertises a "dog-run", "pet pantry", etc. and despite numerous complaints from residents - none of those amenities actually exist. After complaining, the apartment let us know there was a "dog relief area" outside of the apartment that we could use for our pet, but that was also misleading as they have now installed a massive art piece, taking away the only pet amenity (if you can call it that) that they have.
The last thing I'll say is that as a whole, management is not responsive. At all. It took 5 months to get a lease once we had agreed that we wanted to lock in an apartment. After talking to friends, this was extremely consistent across the board.

Upscale without the cost
I feel Albion is a great fit for someone starting Kellogg: 1) There are a lot of other Kellogg students who live in the building, 2) The building itself is new, so it has a very modern/chic feel to it, and 3) It's priced comparatively to the other Evanston Kellogg buildings (e.g., E2), despite the rooms being slightly larger and nice (in my opinion).
The one downside is it's slightly further away from the Hub compared to other buildings (i.e., a 25-minutes walk compared to a 20 minute one).

Modern Oasis
Albion Evanston is one of the newer apartment complexes in Evanston and it’s evident. Super clean and modern spaces throughout the building. I love my studio!

Great location with students nearby
Coming in to this building, I knew the convenience would be great but I wasn't sure about living with so many other students in the building. It turned out to be a very positive feature of the building as I can just pop by other students' apartments if I want to go to a small gathering/work on homework, or we can gather on the rooftop for drinks. Overall, I've been super happy living here & think it provides clean, modern spaces along with proximity to downtown restaurants/businesses.

Beautiful Apartments - No issues so far
If you want to press the 'easy button', Albion Evanston is good choice. Gorgeous apartments, generally very clean and uncrowded amenity spaces, quick response to maintenance issues, and solid management. There is a good community of Kellogg students with a healthy mix of other people just living their lives.

Bigger apartment, Longer walks
Albion is fairly new, the apartment floorplans are big, and if you're east facing, you definitely get some nice lake views. The only downside is that the walk to the hub is about 25 minutes.

Super happy with this choice!
We were the first people to live in the unit, so it's very nice and updated. The floorplan we selected has plenty of space (super important for hybrid learning!). Recommend getting a unit that faces away from the train (to avoid noise) and the views are better the higher up you go. Amenities are solid (gym, pool, rooftop). Maintenance has been very responsive when needed. Have been told pet amenities did not live up to expectations, but I do not own a pet. Don't think the walk to Kellogg is a big deal (max 5min further than other comparable buildings in Downtown Evanston). Overall recommend.
