10-15 minute walk from campus. Washer/dryer in the apartment building. Pool in the middle of the complex. Perfect option if you want to live by yourself close to campus for a decent price. No pets.

Villager West has a nice location, being around the corner from Hillsboro Village and a 10 minute walk from school. However, there are walkways right outside the windows where people walk by during the day so you can't really keep your windows open, making it very dark in the place, and a really depressing place to study. The appliances are outdated and pretty gross. Beyond that, the neighbors are a split between some grad students and some sketchy people (I once witnessed one neighbor bash another's windshield in for taking his parking spot and had to be questioned by the police.) My place was marketed as a 1 bedroom but it's really a studio. Sure, it's cheap, but there are plenty of other apartment complexes on this side of Fairfax that would provide all the benefits of the location without being such an awful place to live.

We like being so close to campus and in a nice neighborhood. The landlady is responsive to any issues.

About a 10 minute walk from McWhorter, close to school and in a great location.

Picked the apartment because it's on the cheaper side of things. Get what you pay for. No amenities like you'd have at a bigger complex. Only about 20 apartments in complex. Weird layouts. Walk to campus is not bad.

10 minute walk to campus. Basic apartment in an older building, no frills. Washer/dryer in unit. Not much natural sunlight. 2 baths is a plus.
