Decent for the location, but expensive and far from the best value

This place is fine if your priority is looking for a quick walk/bike ride to campus. I lived here for 2 years since it is less than 10 min walking to EBL, which is great for clerkships. Many students also live in hillsboro so you are close to the action.

Good:
-New bathroom and kitchen (appliances, granite countertops in many apartments BUT NOT ALL)
-Decent living space for a single person, reasonably spacious
-Great Location, restaurants and students nearby
-Management is usually responsive to MINOR issues
-Security Deposit is very cheap

Bad:
-Kitchen is VERY small, hard for 2 people to fit at once in there.
-Some parts of the apartment (floors, closet) are old and scuffed up badly compared to the new renovations.
-Dark with little sunlight (one living room windowed door, one bedroom window)
-No utilities included in rent
-Mice infestation, management did not hire an exterminator and I had to deal with it myself
-Management is ruthless with rent increases (non-negotiable $100+ rent increase)

Great location (5-10 min walk from hospital), new appliances. No amenities other than parking. Fair and responsive landlord. Outdoor parking. May be able to hear neighbors.

I love my apartment

Great location and affordable rent. But it has pretty thin ceiling and I can sometimes hear someone is walking upstairs.

Perfect Solo living

If you are looking to live on your own, this is a fantastic option.
Location: I live on the bottom floor, and biking to school takes me about 3-4 minutes depending if I can catch the light on Blakemore (walking about 10 min). Very literally right behind McDougal's and a Bagel shop so prepare your wallet for all the good food you live steps away from. 21st street is right there, and many students live here on Acklen.
Value: I have my place (no furniture) for $1200, with enough space to host people for a night. I know they have some units that are fully furnished for $1500.
Social: As before, a lot of students live nearby. This is a pretty quiet place, so I haven't really thrown many events at my place. But, if you are looking for a good night out everyone else is a quick walk away.
Amenities: FANTASTIC kitchen with granite, nice bathroom, large room and seemingly infinite closet space. These were recently done, the floors and walls are a little outdated but the management is actively working on the units. Living room is enough for my sofa, TV, desk, and a 6 person table. Sort of dark, there aren't many windows. No pets or BBQs allowed.
