The Morris

The Morris is an amazing place to live near campus. It is about a 15 minute walk to class in a very safe area. It is right across the street from Division, so it has easy access to nightlife and restaurants. It can be loud when there are concerts on Division, but this it only an issue about once a week during the summer months. The Morris has 24/7 security, so it is an extremely safe place to live. Also very pet friendly!

The best

The Morris is wonderful. The building is super secure, very well maintained, and the concierges are lovely. They regularly make improvements and respond quickly to any service requests. The only downside is that virtually no utilities are included (not even water) so it can get expensive. The walk to the medical school is short and easy, which is very convenient!

I love living at the Morris

Super close to campus, great amenities (pool and gym are awesome), with a lounge and study rooms as well. A new management company took over in the last ~year who definitely isn't as good as the original company, but not terrible. Parking is included in rent for one car, each additional car is $100/month.

Overall great apartment but expensive

As a woman living alone, I feel very safe at The Morris with concierges at the front desk all day. The amenities are great and it is a 7 min walk to the law school. My unit is very bright and feels like nice construction. It is expensive for a 1 bd/1 bath, but so far I have found it worth it to be able to walk, feel secure, and not worry about parking. There is noise from the Division St. bars, but not anything bad on a normal night - when there are concerts/outdoor bands, I can hear it on the 17th floor. This has only been an issue in Aug/Sept so far.

Good apartment as a student

Overall, solid location and amenities. Have lived here for three years and would recommend to anyone I know moving to Nashville. Management is generally decent. Concierges at the front desk are hit or miss, but usually very friendly.

So close to Vandy, awesome amenities, plenty of 2 bedrooms for roommates

I love living at the Morris! 10 min walk to Peabody, <5 min walk to the edge of main campus. Close to tons of restaurants, short walk to the Gulch, near Division Street bars and Demonbreun bars. The location is incredible. The pool is amazing, gym is huge, new, and never full. Have had no issues living here. Quiet as well, not many undergrad students, more of a slightly older crowd (grad school to early 30s).

Best amenities and 10 min walk to campus!

The Morris is awesome! Super close to campus and great amenities (rooftop pool, front desk concierge to get packages, gated parking garage, club room, rooftop grills, gym, working spaces). Located within walking distance to midtown bars, demonbreun bars, Vanderbilt, and the gulch. Decently quiet building with mostly young adults (mid 20s-30s) and grad students. Super safe area in my opinion (I’m female and often walk alone to/from my night classes at school) because there are always tons of people out and about and the area is well lit.

Loud construction, near Music Row - loud bars.

Would avoid. Management in the building is okay at best. Solid amenities and apartments are up to date.

Love the Morris

Although very expensive, I feel as though living in the Morris is safe, secure, and pleasant. Within walking distance of school, management is kind and responsible, amazing amenities, and I have a very nice space for me and my cat.
