They charge everything
You can’t do any meeting, you need to pay extra fees, you can’t have guests (especially if you are international), the water charge always come later, the common area is small ( office) compared to b9 or s9 where there is plenty of space.

810 9th street
It was generally a great apartment and I enjoyed my time there. The leasing office always ensured that we had the best experience.

Great Apartment

Good, but incredibly overpriced
810 is perfectly fine. It is quite and located on beautiful, quiet streets, thus very good for families or people wanting to stay away from party buildings like S9/ B9. Appliances / kitchen high quality and very good. Management are very good and helpful. It is clean and modern and no bugs.
However, it is extremely expensive for what it is. The apartments lack character and aren't very spacious. The gym is not very good. I pay more than a London rental for a worse property.

810 9th Resident
I love the proximity to 9th street area and the other apartment buildings in the area, but I also like that 810 is a little bit secluded from the other buildings. My apartment gets great natural light, is well-sized, and the amenities in the building are great. The leasing office staff are also very nice and the few times I've needed to request a maintenance order, it's been handled in a timely fashion. My one critique is that the hallways can sometimes smell like garbage because of the garbage concierge service. They pump in a scent (most of the buildings do this), and the mix of that scent and the garbage smell can be tough at times, but it's only in the hallways.

Good for living but not meeting new people
Very spacious and clean apartments. Hallways are generally always clean.
Walls are very thin, I hear upstairs and the wall next door
Not a lot of events happening for social engagement usually go to b9 or s9.
Quiet hours are strict for large groups which doesn't really make sense.

Lots of space, responsive mgmt, clean building, quieter than other buildings
Positives are all in the title :)
Negatives would be that mgmt is very strict, and the ceiling above is very thin so noise of people above you can be distracting (especially footsteps). Love that the building has indoor hallways so no / fewer bugs during the summer. Plenty of sunlight and lots of space for two people.
