Great location
I chose the Park Evanston after looking at some apartments during preview weekend based on location and relative price/value for amenities and location. The location is awesome and perfect for a busy student lifestyle. The building is not the newest and does not have the most flashy amenities but the units are nice enough and the community room has come in handy to host group gatherings. PLUS for students: Free printing and 2 conference rooms to host group meetings. They are prompt when maintenance requests are put into the system and the building staff (doormen, repairmen, etc) are awesome. The only major con is dealing with management as it relates to LEASING and RENTAL INSURANCE -- the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. They are very unorganized and different people will send several follow up emails requesting things that were completed months prior with another member of management staff. I've also had my apartment for 4 months and have received monthly emails about *new* items that we need to take care of to "complete our lease". Isn't my lease complete already!? HOWEVER, they do try to engage the residents with various events - brunch, candy apples for halloween, etc. Overall, I have no regrets.

Spacious, convenient, and social (but not a frat!)
I chose the Park Evanston because of its central location (10 min from the Jake, 10 min to the bars), and the fact that lots of Kellogg students tends to live here. My apartment is big and bright, and so far everything has worked pretty well. It's not as modern or flashy as E2 (apartments are mostly carpet, for example), but so far it has suited all my needs well, and I would recommend it! The free printing downstairs has been a lifesaver.

Great location, horrible management, Whole Foods!
The Park Evanston is a great location, less than a 10 minute walk to Kellogg and the Whole Foods is basically right in the building. It is really convenient to most of campus and Evanston. That said, I think it is a bit overpriced for what you can get in some of the newer building in Evanston and the management office is a huge pain to work with - especially if you're signing a lease remotely.

Management ruins nice experience
It is a good location with nice views. The apartments and management however are not up to snuff.
ATT is the only cable/internet provider; my internet, despite paying extra for a fast line, is very slow. This is due to the old infrastructure in the building (and lack of updating)
The climate control is a heated/chilled water system. This means the ENTIRE building is on heat or the entire building is on cold. It can get so warm in the winter, I don't turn on my heat AND open my windows
When justifying my rent increase, despite another huge apartment opening (E2), their response was "they don't have our views".
I can manage the heat and don't mind the ugly kitchen, but this attitude and lack of empathy is exactly whey I can't recommend this building.

Great Location and Amenities
The Park Evanston is located perfectly from the Jake as well as all the popular restaurants and bars in Evanston. It's also very close to the CTA and Metra station. I love the fact that there is so much natural light (it can be amazing during these short days in winter). The windows in all the rooms are huge, there is an in-built washer, dryer, dishwasher, oven and microwave. The stove is induction so that bothers me a bit but not too much. The living room space is huge and the bedrooms are comfortable, depending on what unit type you sign up for. The rent is competitive to similar buildings that are not as well located. The community aspect is lesser this year since a lot of people moved to Optima Horizons or E2. But that can be a good thing too. Last, you need to pay big bucks to book the community room for 20+ people which I don't like at all. Overall, I like it a lot, but could use a LITTLE improvement!

Great location, but expensive
Luxury apartment with superb location. Best location for Kellogg MBA students, in my opinion, aside from Optima Horizons. Living right next to a Whole Foods and having a cleaners inside the building just can't be beat. Only pain point is the cleaners also collects the packages, so you can't collect packages when they are no open (e.g. outside normal business hours).

Great views, solid apartments
A great apartment building with 24/7 on-site security. The apartments are professionally cleaned and the carpeting is replaced for every new resident. Everyone at the front office is super helpful. There could be a better social scene in the building, there isn't a lot of social space for mingling.

Park Evanston Review
The building is not up-to-date. The management jacked the rent up the day we signed the lease. They also did not tell us that our apartment would be facing directly into the middle floor of a parking garage. We've had multiple maintenance issues (mold, broken sink, bathtub, fire alarms and multiple issues with the AC unit being turned off and the building being extremely hot)

Great location and amazing view
Park Evanston is in a fantastic location and is a very nice building. I chose to live here over E2 because it is above Whole Foods and close to Trader Joes and Jewel. I have a beautiful view of campus and Lake Michigan and floor to ceiling windows. The building has a rooftop pool and conference rooms that can be helpful for group meetings. There's also a doorman, parking and dry cleaning on site and a concierge to receive packages. There's a gym on the 24th floor.
I am not thrilled with the management. The pool was not always open during the pool hours and closed for the season too early in my opinion. There are no grills, which I find to be a miss, too.
