- extremely secure building
Best apartment around duke west campus
Fuqua master student, I've been living here for 2 years and I'm now still living at the Trinity Commons.
Honestly I can't find a better apartment here than Trinity, the management team is really friendly and nice, always reponsive to my requests. I used amanities like hot tub, huge gym a lot.
Actually there is no huge difference between west campus's apartments floor plan, it's all about the safety, location, amenities and management team. The price is higher but you will get what you paid for.
As an international student from China, it's challenging for me to study in the U.S., but Trinity provides me a safe, convenient place to study and figure my life out. The management team truly respects you as a person, and they even celebrated festivals with all the residents here. Overall, it is a great living experience for me, if you are a prospective duke students, I would highly recommend you to live here.

It's pretty meh
The location of the building is great if you're a student because it's super walkable to Duke's campus, but that's really the only thing that stands out to me about Trinity Commons. The leasing team is only kind of responsive, maintenance sometimes ghosts you, and there are TONS of hidden fees (parking, internet, trash service, water, etc.) because nothing is included in your rent. Also, the doors to the parking garage are almost always broken, meaning they're often cracked. This means anyone can get into the building with or without a key, which is super concerning, especially as a woman. I've had many, many frustrations with living at Trinity Commons and have thought about moving complexes basically since I moved in.

10/10 Place
Positives:
- Trinity Commons Apartments offer fantastic amenities and a great location with convenient access to popular food spots like Heavenly Buffalo, CVS, Dunkin' and Chipotle, all within walking distance.
- The 18-minute walk to campus is manageable, making it convenient for those without cars.
- a 5 minute drive to Ninth street (you just take Erwin down the road and you're there)
- The apartments themselves have lots of natural light, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere.
- The resident mix leans toward law and med students, which brings a balanced vibe for those looking for a quieter environment than typical Fuqua housing.
- the walls are thick!
- you can't hear the train
Apartment Layout:
The 1.5 bed, 1 bath layout is functional, with enough space for solo living or a bit of extra storage.
There's also 1 b 1 bath options that are about 1600!
Negatives:
The only downsides are the very tall cabinets, which might require a step ladder for easier access, and a relatively small clothes closet space.

A nearest safe place to live!
A crossroads distance to Duke, safe and quiet, modern facilities next to a woods in the north with beautiful view especially at dawn and evening.

Great location, apartment and amenities were average
Ok experience- apartment was big and had relatively new appliances. Had a lot of maintenance issues, especially with flooding in the hallway that management was not responsive to. Great location to med school.

Trinity
Only pro of living here is the location. Otherwise, the apartment is poorly maintained and not worth the price you pay for rent.
