The Heights at LaSalle reviews and highlights
- responsive maintenance
- great social presence
- new complex with modern amenities
- spacious bathrooms
- close to public transportation
- relatively small gym
- great study rooms for group meetings
- overpriced for what you get
- great pool and grilling area
- spacious units
Convenient but there are better apt complexes
This apartment complex is close to school (~5 min drive) and the apartments are nice. That being said, the area surrounding the complex is not and there are some safety issues (eg problems of break ins).

Pretty convenient living
Maintenance is super nice and responsive here. Gym is open in the club house at all hours. Free breakfast in the clubhouse from 6-9am on weekdays. Leasing office is helpful whenever you need anything.

The Lows and The Heights
My experience has been exceedingly positive, there are not that many things to complain about. I would say that my favorite thing is that a good number of Fuquans live here which gives a sense of community. The apartment also has a good amount of space and the amenities are new.
I would say my least favorite thing is that you can't pay the rent with your card and need to write a check or money order which just seems antiquated. Also, repairs and maintenance can be somewhat slow, so be ready to wait three days to get your microwave fixed. Finally, do not lose any of the things they give you when you first move in, because they will make you pay through your nose to replace them.

Super expensive. I moved to campus walk after my first semester.

Heights
Pros) The apartment is safe with gates and multiple door locks that you have to go through with keys. The office spaces for common use is great and it offers free coffee and snacks. Parking spaces are spacious and enough.
Cons) Maintenance often doesn't work in time. Besides the high rent, you have to pay water, electricity, and internet fees all separately, all of which are costly as well.

Where many MMS students live...
Although you do pay a premium to live here the apartments and facilities are top notch. There is a bus stop outside the complex. Easy access to Kroger around the corner on Hillsborough Road. Close to other complexes with MMS students (Belmont, Holly Hill, Poplar West, Etc.) . Garbage disposal service. Parking included and convenient. If in the MMS program a great place for spontaneous socialization, which is important to building relationships outside of school.

Great with some maybes...
I loved living here, but I was dissuaded to use some of the communal amenities for rowdiness from the other residents. I never used the pool after hearing that some residents were throwing plants and other things in the pool. Additionally, sometimes noise was a problem from the younger tenants. The management was great, but you just had to make sure you followed up if you needed something. Would definitely recommend it.
