Great apartment, great for students! So expensive
This is predominantly student housing. Maintenance is very responsive. It also always feels VERY safe. Unfortunately this place is very expensive.

Bugs but still recommend
Overall, a great place to live if you're going to med school. About a 30 min walk to TSCHE uphill, so not ideal for walking. However, both Duke bus and GoDurham bus get you to campus quickly and are extremely reliable, hardly ever run late. This building has a very nice gym with good cardio equipment including a Peloton! Overall, management is very responsive.

Great location for Duke med students
For Duke med students - the best part about living at the Heights is the convenience of having a Lasalle Loop bus stop right outside the building. It takes about 10 minutes or less for the bus to go from the Heights to a stop right outside of the medical school building.

The Heights
My favorite things about my apartment at The Heights is the spacious bedroom and bathroom floor plan and how close it is to Duke University School of Medicine. As a medical student, I'm able to walk or take a bus to campus every day.

Pretty good
It's actually pretty good from all respective. Only thing that's not fine is people upstairs sometimes too loud.

Recommend
The apartment is safe, which is the most important issue. Besides, the management can reply to your requests pretty soon.
The drawback is that there is no restaurant near here.
