The Left Bank is at a higher price for a great location and nice building, but its worth it if you can afford it
The Left Bank is great. The staff is always there to help. The apartments are very nice and the location is great too.

Three bedroom at The Left Bank has been great
Close to the law school, 24hr doorman, they email you when you receive a package and store it for you until you get home.

Very nice place to live, very nice people.
Left Bank is a wonderful building. The apartments are bright, have high ceilings, and feel very spacious. The apartments are well cared for, the heat AC actually work, and the gym is fairly well-equipped. Also, the building staff (especially the front desk staff) are some of the nicest, most friendly people in the world. Seriously, I would live here just to be able to talk to them every morning on my way out the door. The building definitely caters to graduate students and young professionals, but it also has a fair number of children and older residents who work nearby. Definitely feels like the real world, unlike parts of U. City.

Love the high ceilings!
Great location for where my roommates and I need to get each day. Very spacious apartments with very high ceilings. Much more space for the price than comparable apartment buildings in center city. Slightly pricey, but we have a gym in building, 24/7 doorman, roof-top deck and courtyard.

Nice, but far from Center City
Very nice building and convenient to campus. However, it is kind of far away from all the Wharton social events in Center City.

You get what you pay for (and it costs a lot)
The apartments at Left Bank are large, relatively new, well-maintained, and roomy. Left Bank also has a lot of amenities: a decent gym with lots of cardio equipment, resident-only acces via keyfob, a concierge who can receive packages, dry cleaning, and grocery deliveries for you, quick and effective repairs/maintenance, enforced quiet hours, indoor bike racks, no undergraduates, etc. However, you WILL be paying for these amenities, and your rent will increase every year (mine increased by $125 a year until I started complaining about it). It's a question of tradeoffs: money vs amenities.

Couldn't ask for a better place to live
I live in a spacious apartment with 20 foot high ceilings and central air and heat. They allow my cat to live with me. The gym is very nice. The people who work the desk are very nice and protective of the building.

Great building if you don't need to be in Center City
Different location, 10 min from campus and 15 min from Center City. Nice building, responsive management, large apartments. A little on the expensive side, but I feel like I get good value out of it. Biggest concern for potential tenants will be distance from Center City; I don't mind it, but something to keep in mind.

University City Reviews
- Close to campus (~20 min walk, ~8 min trolley ride)
- Generally safe because University City in general has been highly gentrified.
- Charming and diverse community
- CLARK PARK! (and the Farmers' Market!!!)
Cons:
- No nearby grocery stores (except Fresh Grocer which is gross)
- Can be sketchy after dark
