Good Experience So Far!
Personally, I really like The Morgan Reserve. It is a little bit on the expensive side, but my apartment is very spacious and the neighborhood is relatively quiet. Also, there are a lot of other MBAs that live here and on the Morgan side of the complex. So you're not far from friends. There are so many other complexes nearby on Hwy54 too, so you're near other friends and plenty of shopping and food options. With traffic, getting to class in the morning takes about 10-15 minutes. Management is friendly and responsive and the amenities are nice too! I live on the first floor, so we get some bugs every once in a while, but not more than the norm. One downside is my apartment does not have a lot of storage space outside of your in-room closet.

Highly recommend
- The complex grounds are great: plenty of grass and shrubbery, feels semi secluded while still being closer to campus than the Blu
- Very clean and crisp apartment finishes
- Great community with 40+ MBA’ers living here
- Professional demographic: nurses, doctors, families, grad students, etc
- Adequate on-premises gym
- Pet friendly
- MBA program hosts events here

Great property with (generally) helpful staff/maintenance
"The Morgan Reserve" (formerly Springs of Chapel Hill) is the sister community to Morgan Station (formerly Alta Springs). The Reserve has upgraded finishes as well as its own pavilion with grills, TV, and fireplace. The property has been a great place to live. They usually host ~3 community events per month (taco night, Chick Fil A breakfast, yoga, etc.). Convenient to both Chapel Hill and Durham. Very minor maintenance issues have been attended to promptly. Our only real issue has been with one particular staff member

Great place to live
Springs of Chapel Hill is the sister community to Alta Springs, where many first year MBA's live. "Springs" is tucked inside the Alta community, and shares amenities like the pool, rec room, gym, etc. The apartments themselves are a bit newer than Alta, with slightly nicer finishes. Great kitchen, lots of big windows for natural light, nice neighbors. Beautiful, spacious apartment. I love living here because it's close to so many of my classmates, which is helpful for carpooling, but also a bit removed for those times when I need my own space. My only criticisms of Springs are that the walls are not great at keeping out sounds from neighboring apartments (even my quiet ones), and due to the shared amenities, it's a bit of a walk to get to the pool, gym, and leasing office for package pickup.

Great apt community
Great apt complex and community. The only downside is ubering to chapel hill on nights out.

Springs of Chapel Hill
It's a more spacious version of a standard apartment, fairly new. It meets my needs - I have a spacious bedroom and closet, and my own bathroom. The kitchen is large and the appliances are in good condition. It's also nice for pets - they have two dog parks.

Close and Convenient, but Expensive.
The apartment is nice, and convenient to interstate and campus. Unless sharing, the price can be expensive for a 2 bedroom. The amenities are nice, and appliances new. The only issue I have with those is they went with a cheaper oven, instead of a nicer flat top without all the mess of the metal coils. Overall, it has been a good experience.
