cat friendly apartment
size of rooms-very good for the price. Building is very well maintained for how old it is. The floors can be creaky
free water and heat. I've never felt cold in the winter. Summer can get pretty hot without an AC unit
responsiveness of management- pretty quick, I would say within 24 hours
parking- limited to 1-2 spaces per apartment. Extra parking available half a block away
closet space- not the best
distance from school- not an issue if you have a car. walk to school is usually 25 min. It's been fine walking my first two years but can be an issue if you tend to be late to things.
is a 10 min walk to Coventry (lots of restaurants) and Marks (market)
is extremely safe. An old roommate forgot to lock the door once over winter break for 2 weeks and nothing was stolen or amiss

Quiet and Nice
I've had nothing but good experiences here so far (been here for about 8 months). Quiet neighborhood and responsive management. They're very good at getting back to you about requests and about notifying you of any issues or concerns.

Spacious but older apartment
The apartment is spacious, with hardwood floors throughout. Overall, everything has been maintained very well. The floors throughout the apartment are very creaky, and sometimes you can hear noise from other apartments. There is a good amount of storage. A lot of light in some rooms (living room) but not as much in some bedrooms. One of the bathrooms does not have a window and is on the small side but not unmanageable, and does not feel too cramped.

Great house with nice management
The structure of my apt is quite easy for roommates to have individual private space, even for the one rent the living room. Management is quite nice and efficient.

Amazing management company
They pay for heat and are the opposite of stingy. The apartment is always warm in the winter, and anytime we have any issue, they are extremely quick to respond and address the problem.

Duke apartment review
Great apartment with a bunch of space! Our living room is massive and most of the bedrooms are also good sized. The kitchen is modern and has everything. Parking in the back lot can be difficult but there is other options such as a garage and street lot a block away. Management is pretty good as long as you follow all of their rules.

VERY Satisfied
I love my apartment. It is enormous and has a long hallway my cat, Joseph, loves to run up and down. There are hardwood floors, brand new marble counter tops, and new cabinets. My neighbors are predominantly residents and medical students. The place is quiet and clean. There is a small parking lot and a garage. I pay an extra $50/month for a garage spot.

Duke Apartments
Great place to live and the management is very responsive to fixing things if needed. They come the same day or the next day.
The building is old but well maintained.
10 minute walk to a decent variety of restaurants and a market(cash only)
Another market 15 minute walk away.
Cats are allowed for a $200 pet deposit.
Quiet street, but pretty social environment still because quite a few other medical students live close by.
Down side is it is a 25 minute walk to school. There are bus stops nearby.
2 parking spots are allowed per apartment!
Since the building is old...closet space can be limited. Would invest in a clothes rack or something like that.
