Quiet and spacious with easy access to campus and fantastic landlords
Bon Air is a great apartment. The floors are hardwood laminate that look fresh, clean, and modern. Cats are allowed, with no extra fees. Central air and heat are included in the rent, but you have to pay for the electric to run the (somewhat loud) blower/fan. There is an oversized window in the living room that lets in a lot of light. There's a lot of storage in the apartments with a walk-in pantry, front-hall closet, linen closet, and large bedroom closets. The management company is family-run, and the maintenance staff is extremely efficient, friendly, and helpful. There's an online maintenance request form, and your request is usually filled the same business day. I worked with them before I moved in to have the apartment painted, and they only charged me for the paint. Labor was included as they were going to paint the apartment anyways. My only complaint was that the washers/dryers (2 each in the basement, and one each on floors 2-4) were outdated and coin-operated. When I moved out (only to move closer to my fiance's work), they returned my full security deposit without any problems. I miss the efficiency and friendliness of L&A compared to my new landlord. (Stay away from Alan Pearlman properties as he comes off as very cheap and trying to nickel and dime you. Google him for more information.)
