Smoking problem
The apartment is labeled as a non-smoking building, but management does not enforce, and some tenants smoke indoors and the smoke smell leaks into other apartments

Average Property, Responsive Management
My experience at Kemper place has overall been positive. My apartment unit is a good size and it's clean. They actually cleaned the carpets before I moved in, which was awesome. The management has been very responsive and attentive to my needs as they arose.
I really like living in the area - close to Larchmere Blvd, which has a lot of cool restaurants and shops, and to Shaker Square, which also has some cool restaurants and a farmer's market on Saturdays. The location is good - it's only a five-minute drive from CWRU, which is super nice, and there are parks near. The neighborhood is pretty good.
The main things I don't like about living here are that the elevators aren't reliable and that often times the dryers for on-site laundry aren't working. Oh, and the ants.
I would say on the whole I like living here and would recommend it.

Bad heating
People here are friendly and the environment here is good. If you have a car, it is a good place to live. Also, you can take bus #48 to school. The bus station is near the apartment. The only problem is the heating here is bad and the rooms are cold.
