Crystal House reviews and highlights
- convenient location and safe area
- not a very social neighborhood
- leaks are a constant problem
- building is old
- metro station is right around the corner
- reasonably priced
- staff are friendly and helpful
No thank you
Unfortunately I paid for location when quality had low standards for this building. Everything is old and falling apart. They do not fix any maintenance problems but instead go for the cheap quick fix. Leaks were a constant problem. If you want to pay a redick loud amount for a leaky roof, this is the place for you.

Excellent value, and great management
Crystal House has been a great value. It's significnatly cheaper than living in downtown DC, but still fairly convenient in terms of getting to places in DC. I've found the staff to be friendly and helpful and overall don't have any complaints about the building itself. Crystal City feels really safe, but there isn't a ton going on here in the evenings and it's not a very social neighborhood. I would have preferred a location with more restaurants and bars.

Excellent value
It's a great deal. There has been a lot of construction the past 6 months though, which has made some things inconvenient. The location is nice for the metro, but not for other things. The apartments in Pentagon City have better access to shopping and things like that, but they are also more expensive.

Great, well managed apartments
I like living at the Crystal House. Crystal City is a bit quiet, but its very metro accessible which is nice.

Crystal House
The building is good quality with spacious apartments. It's a bit pricy, but very good value if you have the income or are willing to have a roommate.
Roseland as property management is mediocre, but does the job. They initially charged for the option to pay online, but it is now a free transaction.
No pest issues.
Crystal City is a boring neighborhood, but it provides great access to Washington, DC and Alexandria. It's a good base of operations, but expect to go see other people before they come out to see you.
