Great Rent and Management
Great price for the location. Area isn't the safest, and we've had several issues with attempted break ins. The cops show up usually once every couple of months. Management is great, rent is great, location is great and close to everything.
We've had tons of issues (bug infestations, car towings, attempted break ins, etc) but management is very helpful.

Roscoe is the worst management company ever
I lived there for two years and only because it was so cheap. Just moved out last week. Once Roscoe bought the property, painted it and slapped a rent hike of almost 100 bucks a month on it I left. Not a moment too soon either. They screwed up multiple times on bills and rent then force us to pay for their mistakes. If you can't afford anywhere else I feel bad for you. Pick an extra shift because down the road there are apartments that are infinity better than the connection.

Good rent
This place has the best rent I've seen anywhere (though keep in mind that I live with three roommates). And the best part of that is that all the leases are separate--if one of your roommates falls behind on rent, it's on them and not you.
The 331 and 20 bus routes pick up right in front, and the 300 and 320 pick up a block away.
Safety: For most of my time here (2.5 years at this point), I've felt reasonably safe, but we did have an incident where the one of my roommates had to call the police on the next door neighbors fighting. Since then, it's been quiet again.
