Even though it is an old building, it is conveniently close to Ross. Some minor problems with heating and water system occur eventually, but it is great in terms of price/quality.

Forest Plaza : Studio Apartment Review
This apartment is close to Ross (~5 min walk) and the management only rents to MBA students which is nice. However, this is a very old building and does not have any amenities (A/C, dishwasher) and the washers/dryers in the basement are constantly broken. Overall, I feel like the price and location were what sold me on this apartment.

So close to Ross, tons of MBAs, makes up for the maintenance issues
Forest Plaza apartments are large. They are fine, aesthetically. Overall, I think it's a great place to live.
The bad: It's an old building so there are a decent number of maintenance issues that pop up (mostly the washer-dryers are finicky, some leaks from time to time with the old pipes).
The good: That said, it's a 60-unit apartment building with probably 35+ MBAs and that sense of community is really nice. It's also so close to Ross (5 minute walk) that I come home for lunch or to change into a suit for coffee chats, interviews, etc.

Forest plaza
Very convenient to campus. Very spacious apartments and good closet space. Nice to live close to other Rossers and the best I found in my search given I wanted to live alone but be in an environment with neighbors etc. Biggest issue for me is that the building is old - kitchen is very small, has no dishwasher and limited counter space. Bathroom is also very old. Laundry is always broken so I go to a laundromat which is a hassle, especially after I used to have in unit laundry before school. Management says they look into issues like that but honestly I'm not sure they do -- they just need to invest in newer machines / amenities to make this older building more up to date and attractive to residents. Mixed feelings about the place because the positives of proximity to campus & with other Rossers are great.

Solid One Bedroom/Studio Apartments
Not the most luxurious apartment building, but a solid choice for someone looking for a one bedroom or studio apartment. A little pricey compared to some houses, but it is close to Ross and is quiet. Be prepared for random problems to come up, but maintenance is quick to respond to most things.

Very Close to Campus
The best thing about Forest Plaza is its location to Ross. The building is old and outdated and there are only two washers and two units for the entire building and no amenities, but very little beats the location.

Great location, terrible management
Forest Plaza is an old 1920s building with lots of "charm" that is home to mostly graduate students. The building is entirely one-bedroom apartments or studios, five floors with about 13 units per floor, 2 washer/dryers on the first floor, and a passenger elevator and freight elevator. Since the building is old, do not expect granite countertops and other nice features. Each apartment is different in terms of upgrades--some have been updated, others not. However, all units have new windows. There is no central A/C, so window units are relied upon in bedrooms during the summer months but the radiators keep it very warm in the winter.
The management is rude and not considerate or thoughtful of their tenants. However, the maintenance team does respond promptly to logged issues.
