Silver Towers
Very responsive management. Whenever something breaks, they’ll send a repairman up that day to fix it. Rent stabilized building. Does not allow flex walls but you can make a pretty good wall out of bookshelves and fiberglass panels.

Modern amenities, urban style but a bit isolated
Silver Towers has been a great home to us for the past 3 years...it has everything you could ever want in a luxury high-rise in NYC: great gym, beautiful pool, fun social activities, spacious apartments, doorman, and washer/dryer in the apartments. The only thing that it's missing is a short walk to the subway and a better social scene/residential feel. Though the West Side has been developing very quickly, the area around Silver Towers has not. It's close enough to Hell's Kitchen and Gotham West Market, but isn't enough to be a "hot" neighborhood. I'm sure once Hudson Yards is completed, more bars/restaurants will come to the area, but for now it's good for what it is: convenient living with a close-ish walk to Times Square and Hells Kitchen. It's been enough for us to renew our lease, but not sure if it's a permanent home.

Silver Towers - NYC
I've been living in Silver Towers for about a year. I love it here and will likely extend my lease. The maintenance/management team is excellent and everything is done via their website. The security and concierge staff is great and so are the amenities. For what I pay (which admittedly is a lot...) I also get quite a bit from it. The only tradeoff is the fact that it's a bit "far" from some part of manhattan and the area is developing so a lot of the retail/stores have yet to come in.

Central location and beautiful views
Silver Towers has got to be one of the best located high-rise buildings in NYC--it's in Midtown, so it's close to everything you could ever ask for. Its proximity to the Times Square stations ensures that no matter where you work or play, you'll be close to a convenient station. All of the apartments have beautiful views of either the Hudson River or the city itself. The amenities are top-notch--how many buildings have their own swimming pool and sauna?? All in all, a great value for money and a peaceful place to call home.

Quiet, beautiful views, but a little far from the subway
Living at Silver Towers has been great--it has beautiful apartments, great amenities including gym, free fitness classes, pool, sauna and common area. You definitely get what you pay for, so some apartments are better than others as far as views and layout. The building staff is great and they do their jobs well. Though it could be a little closer to the subway, they do have a shuttle that runs all the way down 42nd Street. Overall, it's a great deal if you have to be near Port Authority or the 7 train, or work anywhere close to Times Square or Grand Central.

Great location
The location of this building is great though it's a bit far away from the closest subway on Times Square. The gym and swimming pool are amazing. A lot of tenants own pets and it happens to be noisy from the neighbors. Though overall I'm satisfied with the management and amenities.

Silver Towers
Expensive but comfortable. Ample space, new appliances and amenities. Location good for work, but not for play. Good white glove service and nice, young neighbors. Lots of young professionals and finance industry employees. However, will not be renewing lease.
