Worst place ever!
It's so far from subways, restaurants, grocery stores.
It's got really low ceilings and feels cramped.
It's got too many pets in the building.
But the worst part is the management. They've switched hands many times in the past 5 years but none have been close to normal, competent, or good business sensed.
The lower level guys aren't empowered to make decisions and any of the higher ups have no idea how to run a building. Tenants have stayed potentially out of discomfort of moving in NYC but overall, the building is not worth the money.
The view is nice but does not make up for what the apartment feels like. Everything is outdated, the floors are old faux wooden ones.
Amenities are the gym and lounge, but again, these do not make up for the poor management and cramped space.
Don't be fooled by the large entrance lobby with doormen.
Stay away!

Awesome Place!
I absolutely love this building and the unit. The unit itself is very spacious, and the rent is far lower than any comparable two bedroom apartments in midtown. The building responds immediately if there are any problems, and the doormen are very helpful and kind. The gym in the building is also great, and while it would be nice if membership was free, the fee is very affordable (~45/month). The only downside to this building is the location. It is very far west, but the building offers a free shuttle M-F that goes across town on 42nd street during AM and PM rush hour. It's frequent and very easy to use. The new 7 train stop on 34th and 11th is also helpful, but it is still about a 7 minute walk to the stop. The corner deli (Sunac) is great but a little pricey, and there is a Food Emporium and a liquor store very nearby. The building is also great for pets, as there is a doggy daycare right on the block.
