Good value but far from the social life
Great value. Spacious modern apartment that was just build in the past decade. Modern feel and stainless steel appliances. Much more affordable than in Manhattan. Super lives on site and is able to come by to help with anything. Never seen a single pest. Includes indoor garage parking. Has a mail room where your packages are left so it wont be stolen off the sidewalk.
While it's in NJ, so it's far from all the social happenings of NYC, it's still easy to get into the city with frequent buses to/from Port Authority throughout the day.

Quiet building close to action
Quiet building but very close to good restaurants, bars and gay area.
Pet friendly so lots of dogs in the building.
Great management company, clean building and friendly staff. Nice rooftop with BBQ equipments and a big lounge area.
Public transportation connections are not close.

Dog friendly new building
Recently redecorated building, fee to use gym and laundry, dog friendly building. Great management company, clean corridors and young but quiet neighbors.
Location not the best one: no subways close by and 10th ave is hectic. Good grocery store close by (Food Emporium)

Great staff and upgrades
Building is renovated throughout, with new carpeting, lighting, and wallpaper in common areas, new flooring and apartment finishes. Laundry was upgraded to email when cycle is complete. Gym rarely gets too busy, and the common room is spacious and calm. The terrace isn't that large but suffices.

Hell's Kitchen Reviews
* Easily accessible from a majority of transit hubs.
* Tremendous investment on the part of private and public entities, so there's a lot of development and renewarl.
* Proximity to Javits Center, Penn Station, and Time Square make it heavily policed and quite safe.
CONS
* NOISE--from the Lincoln Tunnel, the Javits, the River, the tourists, but above all else the construction
* Proximity to Javits Center, Penn Station, and Time Square can suck the character out of the location. Don't move here if you're looking to easily find a neighborhood with it's own personality (your local coffee place is going to be Starbucks and your local Italian place is going to be a hike if you want anything other than Sbarro/Olive Garden).
Transportation, particularly up and down the West Side and to FiDi is incredibly easy, and if you live near 42nd St, almost every area is a snap to get to.
Con: Can be loud and tourist heavy during certain hours.
