Crossing DC Review
Great Place 20 Minute Bike Commute to Campus

CrossingDC
CrossingDC is located in Navy Yard and is close to the Capitol South and Navy Yard Ballpark metro stations. It's located right by a Whole Foods and is walking distance to the Trader Joe's in Eastern Market. It can be challenging to commute from here to the Georgetown campus though, and it can be hard to get Uber/Lyfts back from the campus area.

Expensive but considered luxury
I have lived in the Crossing since May 2021 and have mostly stayed put because of my actual apartment unit, but it's been plagued with a lot of issues. There are some pest issues on the lower floors and management is virtually impossible to get a hold of. But I've rarely had any issues in my 4th floor unit. The amenities (gym, pools, wellness suite) are some of the best in the city and hard to beat. There are pretty good concession deals that make it quite affordable for the standard of living you are getting. It is quite difficult to get to campus though. Parking is $300+ and if you want to use public transit to get to Georgetown, taking the blue/orange/silver line from Capitol South (15 min walk) to Rosslyn to a GUTS bus (~hour commute) is the "easiest" way to get there.
