Great!
We have loved this apartment! It came with a balcony, a second story with an open-loft space, a fenced backyard, a bonfire pit, a walk-in closet, and great closet space. I love my neighborhood and my neighbors (mostly families and older couples) and the local events that are hosted- GREAT for families with young kids.
The only reason it doesn’t have a 10 is because a rat was in our apartment and I’m still haunted to this day and think I hear it moving around eating my cucumbers (we had a cute little garden over the summer). It was big. It devoured my cucumbers, nothing else, but I was proud of those cucumbers. Love the hardwood floors btw the pattern is beautiful!

Great apartment, great area, expensive price
My family loves where we live- my husband and I have a toddler and we are nearby a park and there are other young families with children our son's age. We aren't too far from schools- although right now our son attends daycare until he reaches an age old enough for school. The walkability of our neighborhood is amazing, everyone knows one another and we really enjoy the high ceilings and natural light we get in our home. The price is definitely difficult for young parents especially when only one of us is working full-time while the other is a student. It's tough because this place ticks off every box for us, but at the current moment rent can be extremely stressful.

Happy with our place
Even though the monthly payment is high for a family of 3 with two parents who are still grad students, this is a price we are willing to pay to be in the area we are. I love the high ceilings of my home, the area is quiet, we can walk into town to check out small stores nearby. The biggest things for us was the proximity to campus as well as schools nearby for our son, and we have all of that here at our home.
