It’s fine

It’s overwhelmingly average, but they do nickel and dime their residents for basic amenities things like Internet, parking, and laundry.

Fine for a beginner apartment

I’ve never lived in an apartment myself, so I don’t have much to compare to. However, the 1 bed 1 bath apartment I live in is decent sized (around 900 sq ft) with lots of closets. Not very many outlets. There are only three that have three prongs, one in the bathroom. There is a mini gravel lot for residents and street parking. Am right next to the Planned Parenthood so you’ll have protestors nearby if that’ll bother you. Also near a hospital, so will hear a lot of sirens at all times of the day. You get used to it. The complex is pretty quiet, I haven’t noticed any noise besides the occasional steps from the apartments near me.

You get what you pay for

Very old. Nothing shines. Mostly functional. Little quirks. Landlady can be receptive, can also neglect some things. If someone is living above your unit, you'll hear everything. Parking is benefit, free and on street. But be prepared to have the fewest amenities or aesthetics of anyone you know. Very bare bones
