Pretty Bad Experience

The apartment building only has 9 units so you would think it would be nice and well looked after, but, alas, no. It sucks. The rental company is horrible, they do nothing for you. The trash is collected 3 times a week right next to the bedrooms. The apartments look really nice in the photos and have a lot of unecessarily nice fixtures but they're actually just tiny and cheap. There is no parking included and the spots are obscenely overpriced (like $200 a month, i.e. more than I paid this summer in downtown Chicago), so you are left to park between 1 and 3 blocks away depending on what you can find. I was too lazy to move, but I would not recommend ever moving in here.

Super nice apartment, decent management company

Our apartment is beautiful. There are electric appliances, a nice shower, and a huge bedroom closet. The building is quiet. (Undergrads are not allowed to rent at this building and there are only about 9 or 10 units). We have had some issues with the management company not returning our calls or taking a long time for maintenance issues. But other issues have been resolved quickly.
It’s a little more expensive than some other places, but is worth it to me for the quiet building and to be away from other college rentals. It is 1/2 mile from the law school and less than a 1/2 mile to the heart of downtown.
