Midtown Lofts
Very large spacious apartments with high ceilings. Management is not the most responsive but otherwise a great place to live at a good location Downtown.

Avoid All Hunter Bloomington Properties
I don't actually live here anymore. My roommate and I left after 1L and I know at least one other member of my law school class who lived there and moved. The management is horrible. They are unresponsive and really don't care about your issues. Additionally, they marketed the building as young professionals and grad students, but in reality, we had a ton of undergrads in the building who partied constantly. The walls were very thin.

Hunter Properties is the worst leasing company ever!
Hunter Properties is the leasing company who owns multiple properties in Bloomington, IN; one of them being Midtown Lofts. The apartment is wonderful and quite large. However, Hunter Properties is quite awful. The management company doesn't care about its residents and consistently is disrespectful to their residents. Many times the leasing management would call residents names, not pay any attention to noise complaints, and be hard to reason with during times of need. I have never had a leasing company yell at me for simple requests. The leasing manager and her property manager are two of the worst in the industry.
Additionally, the key system to get in and out of the building is awful. The key system is accessed by your phone or a physical key. The key system frequently doesn't work, locking people who don't carry their phone and keys all the time out. I have been locked out multiple times while taking my dog to the bathroom.

Decent apartment close to downtown Bloomington
Overall apartment is good, livable, and walking distant to restaurants downtown.
