Chelsea Review
Great Value!

The Chelsea
The apartments are very secure with electronic locks on every door and parking is in a temperature controlled parking garage beneath the apartment. Residents are friendly and are mostly young professionals and WashU law and medical students. Amenities include a 2-story gym, full spa and steam room, office space, dog park, a bar with an arcade, golf simulator, and a rooftop pool. The area is safe, a 10-15 minute drive to school, a block away from forest park, and close to all the restaurants and bars in Central West End.

Lots of Amenities
This apartment is located in a good area of Central West End. There is a gym, spa/sauna, office floor with meeting room, golf simulator, pool, hot tub, arcade bar, dog washing station, heated/covered parking, dog park, a cafe, and convenience items in the mail room! Has pretty much anything you would ever need.

Overall positive experience
The complex is new (less than a year old when I moved in) so it still is working out some kinks in terms of amenities and management. Overall, I've had a really good experience. The management here in the building is very nice and responsive to anything I need. And maintenance requests are handled quickly (although I've heard other tenants say the opposite, so maybe I'm just not very needy.) The amenities are really nice (I use the study area and hot tub all the time) and the units are very modern with all the appliances I was looking for (dishwasher, washer/dryer in unit, smart fridge). If I had to complain about anything it would have to be that things do break kinda frequently, whether in my unit or things like the elevator or amenity appliances. My unit issues are generally resolved quickly but I can't say the same for the rest.

Chelsea
I love the amenities/the building itself! My property managers are great but Lux Living has a terrible reputation and is awful. Luckily I dont have to deal with them personally, just when the elevator breaks etc. Its close to campus (5 min drive) and is located in a very safe area. The amenities are unparalleled and I use the gym quite often. I would recommend to someone who wants to pay more in rent but have a life outside of law school - ive made tons of friends in the building, they have 4 social events a month for the building, and everyone is young professional
