Downtown location and friendly environment
I have loved living at the Jameson throughout my three years of law school. The staff is welcoming and provides residents with quality community events each month. The maintenance staff responds quickly to any maintenance requests. The complex also has the best amenities, such as multiple dog parks, an amazing pool, a large gym, and even a sports simulation machine!

Jameson
Great management, lots of available floor plans at great prices, tons of amenities, pool, dog parks, etc. only downside is it’s close to train tracks, but only a few of the buildings are close enough to the tracks for it to be loud. I live in one of the buildings close to the tracks & the noise isn’t bad — only noisy a few times for a few minutes (if that) throughout the day.

The average new build apartment
My apartment is very nice but there are a few downsides. The roads are rough to get there. Sometimes the parking can be frustrating but there’s always a spot behind a gate, it just may be relatively far from your building. You can buy a garage but it’s kind of expensive, and all parking is on the first floor. I feel very safe at the complex because the gate works most of the time and the doors to the buildings usually stay locked. The mail situation has been frustrating because the mailroom for packages almost never works and it seems like it’s hard for delivery people to find it and figure out how to work it. They have an excellent community space with a pool, small gym, cornhole, TVs, grills, and three stories of sitting areas. In the apartment itself, there isn’t room for a kitchen table so that’s a little frustrating. It is very close to campus and its location makes it easy and quick to get to the school (versus living near TCU or on west 7th). But it’s far from everything else, such as gyms, grocery stores, and food places. I did resign a lease so I don’t have to move during law school and the rate only went up by 50 from the original lease to now. There’s a lot of trains too.

Nice Amenities and Close to School
Appliances and amenities inside the apartment are spectacular and all very modern. The shared amenities are pretty cool, some are more unique then I’ve seen at other apartments, lots of space to hang out, a great pool, and an okay two story gym. It’s very close to the school, easy to get to, and out of the way of the busy parts of the city. So far, I’ve experienced that the area is safe, which might be helped by multiple cops that live here and their cars parked around the building. The only drawback some people have said when visiting is that it’s next to the train tracks, but I personally don’t have a problem with them, usually tune them out to the point I only notice them if a visitor points them out, and have never been woken up by them.

Great
This apartment in downtown Fort Worth is new and modern. There are so many amenities and activities available to residents. It is an easy drive to law school. The worst aspect of the apartment is that it lies next to a railroad track that can get loud.

Great amenities, big spaces, average management, average location!
Overall, the Jameson is an okay place to live! The best things about the Jameson are the amenities and proximity to the law school! I can leave my apartment and get parked and in class in less than 15 minutes. The Jameson also has great amenities, specifically the best dog park I came across while I was apartment hunting. My apartment is also pretty big if you compare it to similarly priced apartments in Fort Worth.
I have had some poor experiences with the management being slow to respond and saying they will do things and then not actually do it. My advice would be go straight to the assistant or property manager! They are great but I've had trouble with the leasing assistants multiple times. Additionally, I think the location is great for getting to school but not much else. It's not very walkable- not much around besides other apartment complexes. It's not unsafe but I would be weary about walking the surrounding neighborhood streets alone at night. It is not walkable to any restaurants or fun things to do. Another negative is the train. The apartment is literally right on the train tracks. It usually doesn't bother me and isn't too loud when I'm inside but sometimes the trains screeching to a stop in the middle of the night can be annoying.
