Cheap rent is not worth dealing with the horrible management
I lived at Apartment on Sixth for one year. During that time, I had many issues that were never resolved—including mold. They charge illegal fees upon move out.

Great place to live
It’s mostly quite, pet friendly, little to no crime (except being called a slur one day while on a walk). The main office is extremely hard to get ahold of, and they don’t really care to follow up. But overall, I enjoy my apartment very much.

Pretty Nice!
My overall experience has been good. The apartments are older, but maintained. The area is pretty quite since it is about a 10-15 minute drive from campus. In unit washer and dryer is always a plus! I have had a few maintainence needs and they have been quick to respond. There aren't really any ammenties (no gym, pool, etc.)

Great place to live!
This complex is great. Each unit has its own washer and dryer (woohoo)! There are no amenities available such as a pool or gym, but the complex is well kept and quiet. Anytime I have had maintenance issues they have responded quickly.
In terms of cons, it is far from campus. It is about a 15-20 minute drive from campus and about 40 minutes on the bus. It also about that same distance from downtown Lawrence (Massachusetts St). I don't mind the commute, but if you are someone who wants to be in the middle of things it may be too far!

Great Place
Everything is great so far. Management have been helpful and nice. MY only comment is that the gym should be cleaned more often.

Affordable in West Lawrence
These apartments are relatively new and are nice. They are considered a studio, but there is a 3/4 wall to separate the living room and bedroom. The surrounding area is nice and quiet. Repairs are assessed in a timely manner.

Good Grad apartment
Good apartment with a nice amount of space for a studio. Close to several stores and restaurants. Far enough away from campus that you don't have parties going on in the apartments but close enough to get to campus quickly. The only bad thing is parking is awful at night, there is no space around the back buildings.

Simple, Quiet Place- No Frills
All units here are one bedroom. I happen to have a corner unit on the 2nd floor, so I also have vaulted ceiling in the living area, which is nice. I imagine that the units that are in the middle of buildings have pretty limited light because they only have one living room window and no bedroom window. There is a cut-out at the top of the wall that separates the living room and bedroom, and there is also no door between the kitchen and bedroom, so there is limited privacy or noise mitigation inside the apartment. There is a washer/dryer in unit, and a large walk-in closet. Also extra storage in the water heater closet. Kitchen is kind of small, oven is mini-size (3 small burners and 1 large one), and limited counter space. I recommend buying a rolling kitchen cart to add more counter space. There's a small amount of space in front of the front door to put things like flowers, outdoor chair, but the balcony-type space is shared with your neighbor across the hall.
Complex itself has no extra amenities. Close proximity to the smaller Walmart, Sprouts, and Dillons. Several restaurants. Kind of a far drive to campus (about 20 minutes and that doesn't include the time to walk to wherever you are going on campus once you park). Close to a couple bus lines, the best one to campus being #10 line. Quiet neighborhood. Mostly retired folks and young professionals who live here.
I haven't dealt much with management, but they have usually been responsive. I like that I can pay automatically through their website.

Just enough, nothing fancy.
These apartments are on the smaller size, along with no actual door to the bedroom space. In unit washer and dryer with a large walk in closet. Small kitchen, with a smaller stove. Overall, nice layout and functionality, and pretty quiet. Close to K10 and Interstate entrances, and close to Rock Chalk park and Clinton Lake. Parking isn't assigned but monitored. It isn't fancy, but it is newer construction.

small but good management
I have lived here for a few years, the management is responsive to maintenance requests and I have never had any major problems. The location is further from campus and I would not recommend this place to people without reliable transportation. However, for the price it is a very small unit and the rent does not include electricity or internet, and there's no amenities like a pool.
