Bon Vista
Since moving in, I have not had any concerns. The apartment is affordable and is reasonably close to the HSC and the Suncrest Plaza area

Non Vista Villas Review
It’s ok. The apartment itself is nice but the leasing office is a nightmare and on occasion created issues. Some of examples of these include: changing my move-in date a day before I was supposed to move-in, not allowing me to pay rent for two months then charging me all at once, and when seeking a reimbursement they only did it in partial amounts and I have had to pester them until I am paid. If you can get past the leasing office issues the apartment complex is quiet, has nice views, and the facilities are adequate.

Nice place
I like the apartment. I've lived here the whole time I've attended law school. It's nice-looking. The people who work here don't get in your business, but they're quick to come make any repairs the apartment needs. The only issue is that it's on a hill on Stewartstown Road, so it's a little sketchy in the winter. Not a big issue though.

Optional covered parking, in unit laundry.
The management is very responsive to any concerns I have had (like the A/C quitting this summer). Further, during winter the stairs are often salted and private drive is plowed regularly. Electric runs anywhere from $30-ish a month to $70-ish a month depending on heat / A/C setting. Trash and sewage is included in rent. My 1 bedroom charges $24 per month for water. The internet that must be used in Comcast Xfinitiy which has been solid and reliable. The first year cost was $35 per month and the second has moved to $55 per month. Parking is free, but optional covered parking is available for $20 per month. The only big drawback is residents are not permitted pets unless you have an emotional support animal with documentation to prove it. If you irritate easily, you should know that sometimes the walls can be thin (hearing other argue) or hear people walking above you (but this is pretty common in large apartment complexes).

Review of Villas at Bon Vista
Overall, my experience has been good. The apartment is nice, with a great view, lots of natural light, a nice bathroom with a jetted tub, and a good amount of space for just me and for the occasional friends I have over. Management and maintenance are always quick to respond to any requests/needs/questions I have. I rarely struggle to find parking, and I've never had trouble with parking for guests as long as they don't overstay their welcome.
My main complaint is that the rent does seem to increase a bit each year, but it hasn't been enough for me to justify the hassle of moving all of my stuff to a new apartment yet. Other than that, the closets are a little small, but there are four of them, so it's not too bad. The kitchen is also small, but it's apartment living, so some of that comes with the territory. Finally, my apartment is not handicap accessible at all. There are no ground-level apartments, and access is by stairs only--no elevators. It's not a bother for me, but it could be for some people.
Another massive two-part perk is that they tend to rent from the beginning of August to the end of July for most of the units (perfect for students not wanting to pay rent the summer before school even starts), and if you have a good credit score, the security deposit should be fairly cheap.
