Metro Towers
Metro Towers is a decent place to live. The one bedroom is small, but sufficient for someone who lives alone. The only downside is that there is no balcony/outdoor seating for the apartment. Maintenance is slow to respond, typically taking a couple of days, unless it is a big problem, then it usually takes much longer. Metro Towers South is usually pretty quiet and I feel safe. Guest parking sucks and it is hard to get a spot as there's only 10 spots for four buildings.

Management aren't great
Make sure to read the terms of the lease, there's some pretty strict stuff in there. I got charged my full security deposit because a friend brought his dog into the apartment (there was no damage done). Metro is pretty trigger-happy with security deposits from what I've heard. They usually take several weeks to fix things unless it's an emergency. They're very accessible though, they've got plenty of staff in the office during working hours. Pretty quiet, relatively short drive from campus, and the apartment looks nice.

Fantastic Location—Not All Buildings are Created Equal
I have lived here since undergrad and honestly it’s been mostly great. The parking is a one-time fee, the location is super convenient, and the price is very reasonable.
However, my building in particular (building 55) has some electrical issues at times. It’s also worth noting that maintenance is slow even if you notify them a problem is urgent—and sometimes they may refuse to fix an issue they acknowledge the existence of (though they’ve never offered me a reason).

Overall Great, Especially location
It has a great location near the law school and a very fair price. Location is not cleaned before you move in and maintenance is not the best. Washer and dryer included. Some of the doors can be a bit difficult to lock.

Metro Review
I love living at Metro. In my opinion, it is the best bang for your buck! It is very homie.

Do not live here!
Although the individual bathrooms are appealing, the management company does not care about their tenants. The apartment above ours left the water running over night, flooding our apartment. The water ruined parts of my room and bathroom and left us without smoke detectors. After our initial call to the leasing office, the management team wanted ME to come downstairs to get a carpet cleaner to clean up the flooded water. Do not waste your money. Live a little further off campus and get a better deal.

Metro Towers Review
I’ve had a pretty good experience here. I went to WVU for undergrad, so I have stayed at other apartment complexes for the prior four years. While this apartment is smaller than where I lived the past two years, maintenance is much for efficient and the price/location to the law school can’t be beat.

Metro Towers
Great location from law school hill, only takes a few minutes to get there by car. Can walk to school too. Pets are allowed only as emotional support and service animals, but don’t cost extra in rent. It’s quiet for the most part, no issues with focusing on studying. Furnished. Not a lot of storage space, had to buy extra shelving

Nice complex, depends on who you live with
Very close and only need to leave 5 minutes before class starts. However, there are some out-of-the-ordinary kids that you may be matched with as your roommate, so one's future experience may depend upon that.
