Fairway Flats

Love this place!

These apartments might be considered on the more expensive side for some, but if you are looking for ample living space, peace and quiet, and green space outdoors this is a great place to live. Most residents keep to themselves, so it's nice as a somewhat older non-traditional student who isn't interested in living as close to friends or classmates and the busy part of town as possible.
The rooms are large, each bedroom has it's own full bathroom and a half bath is off the living room/kitchen for guests, ceilings are high, and each apartment has a nice balcony with huge floor to ceiling windows in the living room (great for plants and vitamin D in the winter!)
Residents skew toward working professionals, retired couples, and young families, in addition to students. Everyone I've met here is kind and the management is responsive and helpful. The buildings are on a golf course so you will have a green view from whichever apartment you select and it's quiet because it's not on a main street. The gym fee is automatically added to rent price, but it's close and a very clean and upscale facility that is a bit small but met all my needs and beyond. It also has an indoor pool and fitness classes, but the hours are limited so not ideal if you're a night owl at the gym.

I truly don't have anything negative to say about this location (well, maybe one snide comment about my upstairs neighbors...) It met my needs and helped me get through a year of covid and part-time working from home with my sanity intact.

Fairway Flats is close enough to campus, yet far enough away to not feel like you're right in the middle of it. The apartments are only three or four years old and in great shape. On a golf course with great amenities including pool and gym. Price is on the higher side but if you can afford it, you will like it here.

I have absolutely no complaints about the apartment itself! I get lots of sunlight, its very quiet most of the time, and the kitchen is perfect if you like to cook a lot. The one thing I would warn about is the "resort fee," which is an extra $25 that you have to pay every month for the pool (which is only open in summer) and the gym.
