Far & Pricey but a Great Place
I've only been at my apartment for a month but I love it so far. Maintenance comes the next day after making a request, it's pretty quiet/peaceful, the people & management are friendly, and I feel very safe here. It's a little pricey but the units are very roomy and there's a lot of storage which is so nice. It's also a little far from campus (about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic), but I don't mind having to leave a little earlier to get to class.

Good with Roommate, Expensive without
Very nice apartments with responsive management. It is far from campus, so you’d need a campus parking pass or to plan carefully for the bus.

Hunters Ridge
Nice place, management company is great. I like the location, about 15 minutes from campus, lots of restaurants close.

Safe and Quiet
I greatly enjoy living at Hunters' Ridge. I have lived here for almost two years and have always felt safe. The leasing office is very friendly, the maintenance is quick, and the grounds are well-kept. My rent is comparable or even low to other apartments in Lawrence. It is a great mix of young people, working professionals, and retirees.

Great amenities, awesome management
This is a great place to live if you want to be in a quiet, clean area on the edge of Lawrence. It's a bit of a commute to class, but worth it because I really enjoy living here. It's worth the price because the units themselves are nice, maintenance is prompt and helpful, and the grounds are kept very nice. I feel safe here and know that my concerns will be addressed when I have any. There have never been any safety concerns regarding other residents or the living conditions here. They allow pets here, but with ample restrictions, because they take maintenance of the property very seriously and do not want lax pet owners letting their animals be disruptive and destructive. At one point we had an ant problem, with them getting in through the windowsills, but management listened to our concerns and had the pest control people come early to treat our apartment. I also like that unlike a lot of apartment complexes that are next to busy streets and have no landscaping, this complex has a lot of grass and trees, which makes it feel more homey and less cramped.

Hunters' Ridge Apartments Review
Best place I’ve ever lived

A good complex overall
The square footage is excellent value for the price. The appliances are nice, and maintenance is very quick to help in the event of an issue. The location is also handy since the complex is near K-10, making driving from Lawrence to Topeka easier.

Quiet, family friendly, luxury apartments
I've lived here all 5 years I've been in Kansas and have loved it. They have changed management once since I've been here. However, I think that they are very quick with maintenance issues and they are very responsive to any issues or questions. The apartment grounds are always clean and well kept.

Great place for graduate students w/ roommate or partner
These apartments are very nice. They have new wood-style (linoleum) flooring, granite counters, a built in study nook, a built in bookshelf, and new appliances. There is a great pool and tennis court, as well as a fenced in area for dogs. The gym is great for overall fitness, though it is small. People are generally nice, and for the most part are adults with careers (minimal parties), and few children. The maintenance people are great, and I haven't had any issues with management.
